Both of my parents did this to my sister and I during and after their divorce, put us in the middle all the time, my older sister especially got to be their messenger and have to hear all the shi they wanted to say to one another but didn't have the guts so they had to say it to their teenage daughter to relay. Makes me sick to think about how immature and selfish some parents really are, shouldn't be having kids.

My dad has an adoring look to me as long as I can remember. Thank God. And I am 34. Praise your fathers if he never laid a hand on you, as in sexually. I trust him more than anything, and he discipled me appropriately. God bless all children that go through these things...

This creep is really disturbing, he barely blinks. He’s clearly trying to intimidate that child. I hope she knows how brave she is in the depths of her soul.

Actually IMO the Prosecution made a mistake putting that 14 yo on the stand. First, her attitude (and no need to mention that she's "a teen") mirror that of her mother. Secondly, so many of her responses seem coached. So many. And, it only take 1 juror. Just 1.

The daughter's testimony just sealed his fate. Imagine how twisted you have to be to use your own innocent child as a pawn in a scheme to spy on her mother.

There are several cases on KZread where ex husbands have done this with their children. The infamous Michael McDonald of Las Vegas. You'll be able to find many of his ridiculous and abusive court actions against his long suffering ex wife on KZread. The other is Trevor Summers, whose trial you can find on KZread. Both these delightful men are in prison. Summers for life - he didn't quite manage to murder his ex wife, but he did totally turn their children against her and make use of them in his plot to kill her. They were so screwed up by the things he told them were right and wrong that they had difficulty even being allowed in schools, because they were violent and bullied other students. Really awful stories. Some people, not very smart people, claim it is only women who alienate children from the other parent. I'm sure they do. But it is so ridiculous to say that men don't have all the same capacities to be horrible. Indeed men kill their female ex partners are such a rate, that in the US, on average, three women are murdered every single day by their male ex partner. Guess what, the figure is NOT the same the only way around. Men have a huge lead in the murder stakes. Which will mean there is a greater risk for the children to be co-opted into murdering their mother.

Anyone else notice how after his initial "surprised look" when she referred to him as "the defendant" that he appeared VERY angry? He's groomed this child her intire life and he is realizing now that he has lost his grip on her. It's very disturbing.

Or he realized on her own she would only call him Dad, but once the DA said "I'm gonna refer to him as the defendant" and then she followed suit hes catching on that they have turned his daughter against him. The daughters testimony was ALL over the place, she was clearly coached, she knew every in and out of the grow operation but couldn't identify a picture of a bag of weed? Go back and listen to that Lego falling through the floor boards to reveal a chair with duct tape and rope testimony. She was SOOO CLEARLY being lead through that testimony and it isn't her own. Pay attention more.

This girl seems very tuned in. The fact that she didn't want to use the names her dad used to describe Leo because she didn't want to disrespect his mother is remarkable for such a young person. Also, she sounds very confident in her testimony.

Defendants should have to watch remotely in another room while minors or victims are testifying.

This poor girl. Her testimony is excruciating. Hearing her cry was difficult. This must have been so painful for her. I give her a lot of credit for having the courage to face her father in court and doing the right thing by testifying.

He’s obviously trying to get his daughter’s attention by staring her down with that that ridiculous look on his face. Seems like he’s trying to guilt her out for speaking the truth. It seems pretty clear he allegedly made their mother’s boyfriend disappear.

She is exceptionally mature on a certain level, but she is paying a tremendous price for that maturity. She has been robbed of her childhood, so there are other areas where she is exceptionally underdeveloped and/or frozen. In short, her maturation process is extremely lopsided. What often happens in this type of situation is the adults are oblivious to this dynamic and continue to rely on the "adult part" of the child which prevents the underdeveloped and frozen parts from maturing. I pray the adults in her life recognize she is a child and let her be a child . . . and find other ways to work through their own issues regarding this situation instead of further robbing her.

Oh finally somebody else on here thinks that what the so called father did to his daughter, is child abuse! To bring her to spy on her mother, to threaten her with a gun ( and yes the daughter did not say who threatened her, it is obvious the jury knows it was her father) glad that comment was said on the record whether they strike it or not, it still will have an impact on the jury ! Also talking to his young daughter about selling & planting weed (drugs) is so wrong on so many levels !! My heart goes out to this brave young girl ! I only wish CPS had intervened

How low are you when your own child has to testify against you? That bright young woman will never be the same. I hope she is going to live a long and happy life regardless of her parent's failures.

He is absolutely bewildered by her clear account of what transpired at his hands. I applaud this young lady for being so brave and courageous through this trial.

The fact that he hardly blinks or moves is horrifying. I wonder if he’s partly in shock with just how intricate her memory is and how detailed she describes the events that took place. I think it just goes to show how powerful the brain/memory is even as children. It’s scary how trauma stays with us. My brother still remembers things that happened when he was 3/4 and had to care for me even at that age. I really feel for this sweet girl. I pray she heals. I’m so sorry she has to endure this monstrosity. To have to sit there with him shooting daggers takes an enormous amount of strength.

Guy was so still at times while she was testifying, I had to look at his attorney’s shoulder to see if it was moving in order to verify that the picture hadn’t frozen. What a creep!!!!! 😒

😂😂 I accidentally stopped the playback more than once because I assumed I'd hit it with my finger and needed to press play. Especially right before the time when he took a sudden deep breath as if he'd been holding it for a minute.

That poor child! No one should ever have to go through that.

So much fear in her voice. I pray she finds some peace and comfort and gets the help she needs. Poor thing

I’m 58 now but when my sister and I were kids my mother and father were divorced and my sister and I would be drilled for information when returning from our Dad’s house and vice versa. Really did a number on my sister and I. As adults we separate ourselves from both of them. Our father past away about 5 years ago. They both used their kids terribly. Lot more to the story, but not getting into that. Just saying some parents can truly be horrible people. My sister and I are very close and I’m so happy she is my sister ❤

Urghhh how he is staring at his own child, hardly blinking. It’s got to be scary for her giving her testimony , especially as you can see the vitriol bubbling inside him.

The look on his face during testimony was very telling.

He’s a bad egg. To put your own child thru this is ALL I need to know.

What a beautiful soul. She was worried about the victim's mother. So kind.

What a horrible position for this child to be in having to testify. So sad.

He can't believe I think that she remembered so much detail. She brilliant .

The sad thing is parents do this all the time. My childhood was hell and we are lucky no one died during those days. I did so much better with my child; prayers to this brave girl.

It's really creepy the way he stares at his daughter while she's testifying.

Someone else should have done the direct with this child. That prosecutor is too aggressive, brash, and impatient. Terrible.

Kudos to this young lady. Love and strength to her. She's already strong, she's going to pull through. If stares could kill.

What parent puts their child through this. This is making me sick. This poor girl, there is no remorse on his face just starring her down. 😢

This young girl is very brave, and clearly articulate, intelligent and very sure and detailed in her memory of the events. Her father is alternating between coldly staring at her, looking confused and at times stunned into disbelief. Bet he didn't bet on his own daughter nailing the lid on his coffin as it were!

If he is found not guilty I’m afraid his daughter will be in danger, well even more than she was before he entered Jail

@@margaritac3416 I believe the mother has had his number for years. I would think she has filed a lifetime restraining order and she has made other provisions for her safety. But the daughter being so young could easily be manipulated again and again for the rest of her life. I feel so bad for this girl. RIP Rosalio

If you'll threaten your daughter with a gun, you'll definitely kill someone for her Mom. Imo anyways. Don't let all this OVERSHADOW the video of him buying a murder kit on video at Walmart. That is just suspect behavior. This guy def killed Rosalio. He's nuts.

I swear my screen froze so many times on the 'Defendant'.. what a psycho.. good on that daughter!! What a brave young lady.

Guilty as sin!! You can see the fear on his face each time she says something incriminating against him. You also see flashes of rage in him too! Also, 19:44 WTF! He IS a defendant & she says so too! The smirk and the “how dare my daughter call me that” look on his face!! Then you see some rage kicking in! He’s angry! The jury will be seeing that and see how quickly he gets angry. She called him a defendant & he responds like that IN A COURT ROOM infront of a JURY who has his fate in their hands! I can only imagine how he would react when not in a court room! 20:02 The anger when he mouths “she f***ing brainwashed” ~ How is her saying “defendant” being brainwashed?! Oh yea…watch his chest area and shoulders. You can see it rising and falling as his breathing rate increases because his heart is pounding faster because he’s pissed! He did not like that!!

I absolutely agree. It's very uncomfortable. So many attorneys don't know how to change their tone based on who is on the stand. Her dad is staring her down and she must be scared and anxious and he isn't mindful of that at all.

Agreed. My bf overheard me watching this and just went off on the attorney, mocking him (the attorney)and how he was speaking to the child. Outrageous.

Apart from killing an innocent man and getting rid of his body(which i believe he did) ..I hope for her safety and her younger brothers..the defendant will be locked up for life

This young lady is so courageous, strong and brave. I can only imagine the trauma she has from this entire ordeal. For her to take the stand and testify against him is undoubtedly one of the hardest things she will EVER do, but she did it and did so INCREDIBLY WELL! I don't even know this young girl but I am so so PROUD of her.

way he is trying to stare down his child in a very hostile, intense way simply bc shes doing right thing is sick, sad, disguisting & disturbing....shes so brave hope she knows that & that she DID the RIGHT thing! IDK wtf has happened to so many these parents these days that they're putting adult issues on their kid(s), exposing them to adult things for selfish reasons, & intentionally hurting them whether emotion, mental or physical NEEDS TO STOP!

The energy in this court room is so strange, from the judge, to the examining attorney and defendant , sheesh
