Hope he is under psych evaluation -- with additional prison time for attacking the judge -- full respect for not giving him any attention today. Glad she is okay physically and if not emotionally -- seeking treatment for the trauma.
I saw that attack shortly after it was posted last week. So shocking. I'm so glad she's back on the bench and hope she's not physically injured. She's incredibly dignified. It's highly impressive. May he get an incredibly stiff sentence/s from whatever case/s brought against him for his attack.
Incredible impartiality. I would be tempted to increase the sentence. Giving an additional trial is absolutely correct. This judge may have to be a witness at that trial. I bet he doesn't say he's innocent.

I honestly don’t think that I’d be so composed, seeing and passing judgement on the man who attacked me in court as I did my job.
That is a very profound judge. Able to set aside her personal feelings from her professional duty. However, it seems he is still being charged with assault, which he should, and another judge will officiate.
She is apparently a very good person. She’s a friend of a good friend who was distraught when she found out!
The way he Swan Dived over the Judges bench like a Sugar Glider right after he said "I'm trying to learn from my mistakes".😂😂😂
He certainly wasn't half so bold this time, was he!
Now this is Poetic Justice
He is lucky because the lady judge is very nice and fair !
He goes off just after he states how much he has changed.....right
Isn't this illegal? She's the victim and she wasn't supposed to see him? No chance at all for this fellow. 😮
She showed enormous compassion to the defendant. I've never been a fan of a judge chastising a defendant because most sentencing guidelines speak for themselves. The judge only need apply the law and punishment as prescribed. These are often intense times in proceedings and defendants are usually ready for the verdict. That being said he should still be tried and punished for his actions and I'm sure he will be.
What a idiot! He will stay in jail for a while.
You may note that the court security consisted of officers that bracketed him and each of the officers appear physically capable of “ending” him should he decide to display his personality disorder again. He was bound and gagged purposely, it appears. Unfortunately, another monster that will eventually be returned to the population and very likely to crime..violent or otherwise.
