I don’t know the context but odds are it’s a kangaroo court. Often the public defenders have absolutely no ability due to caseload to even try to present a proper defense for their clients. That’s a violation of your right. It’s not a legitimate court case if you don’t have legal representation.

I’m only commenting because I see your comment at the top. Judges and lawyers are more corrupt then most of the prisoners that roll through those courts and it’s truly fucking sad. I don’t know this case well but the mans probably right that his life is gonna be out of his hands because he can’t defend his side. Not saying the out of turn speaking wasn’t overdone but I wish there was more sympathy and real rehabilitation to the system.
