    What does the green mean. I understand that the orange colour is the bottom of lake but i was thinking that the smart doesnt show vegetation

    Does the Start contribute to local depth data? I'm on a budget but would love to be able to contribute to local river and lake data from my kayak.

    Hello, Thank you for your interest in the Deeper sonars! Unfortunately, it is not possible to create the depth maps with the Deeper START model, it is only designed to be used from the shore, and it does not have built-in GPS module, therefore creation of the depth map is not possible. If you would like to create the depth maps from the kayak, then we recommend our Deeper PRO/PRO+2 or CHIRP+2 sonar models.     I used the sonar in a few outings, mostly close to my phone on the kayak. Fish readings are completely inaccurate. The 4th or 5th time it started losing connectivity to the phone every few minutes. Battery life is short. Being still under warranty, I emailed customer service. Their answer was that because I haven't complained in 2 years, it's not their fault. Passive aggressive and dismissive. I strongly recommend choosing another sonar (like castable Garmin), because of the above mentioned problems and customer service.

    It is not a good deeper throw 1 time he clapped open and everything stuck connected deeper with that problem and they said it is not us problem

    If you want to sell the thing to anglers, the mobile phone holder would be mandatory!!... otherwise I see it as a rip-off (accessories), since it is worthless/pointless without a holder.
