    Don't think about it like this, life itself is horrible. What makes it better is how you decided to live in it. If you can't find anything, then this just means that you see how reality really is and can't ignore that. It means that you will be forever sad? Maybe. Deal with it, and if nothing works, well... At least do what gives you joy till the end. But remember, your brain could be making a fool of you, and make everything bad when it isn't. *Be vigilant.*

    No, everything will continue on. Even if greed ends humanity, something will take our place until entropy ends everything. The end of all things lies at the end of the universe, in heat death. Humanity is such a tiny blip in the universal existence. Humanity will exist then cease. We will all be forgotten as dirt and water washes over us and returns us to the basic elements we came from. Those elements will be used to form other life. And the cycle will continue until entropy pulls the plug. It is the way of things.

    It's sad that it works like that you exchange your precious time for money just to provide for your family. I still go to school but I throw at least 8 hours a day 5 days a week sometimes more since they give you stuff to do at home and it sometimes takes multiple hours to finish the work and not including the tests. At my age when I'm 17 and I should be enjoying life still basically as a kid or you at whatever age enjoying life with your family you work so many hours a day without being able to choose and just because you have to earn the money you lose out on so many memories. If you think about it if you'd live like this the entire time ever since your children were born and you'd get hit by a car tomorrow you'd basically be nobody to your own children they would just know you as a person that works their ass off so they can live comfortably but you'd almost be a stranger. I hope you'll have more time to spend with your family in the future working that many hours a day is just unimaginable to me.

    I'm slowly realizing that it's all about learning to love. I always thought it was about finding love. But finding love means an expectation of having that love returned. Whereas, the love I have for my children is way beyond any love I could ever have for a partner. The love I have for my kids will remain the same whether they love me back,..or not ! It's truly unconditional !

    @doughammond8932

    Ай бұрын

    @@georgekitchen7046 I appreciate that as an atheist you say atheists should not persecute Christians. And those who believe should not persecute either. Jesus said to love even our enemies. But I can say for sure that yes, you can know 100% that God exists. When I could see that the Old Testament predicted in countless ways the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ even thousands of years before He came from heaven, knowing I was a sinner and being ready to live in obedience to God, I called upon the name of the Lord for salvation, and He saved me. After that experience, I KNEW that He is risen from the dead and Lord of all. I KNEW that my sins are forgiven and I am destined for heaven and glory. I still know it with absolute certainty to this day. And the Bible says that a Christian WILL know: "The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God" (Rom 8:16). I suddenly had a witness and a knowledge within me that was not there before. I was a student of the Bible before in a secular university but I never really understood it, and it was clear to me that neither did my learned professors. But as soon as I was born again, having the Holy Spirit, the Bible crystallized in my mind and suddenly I could understand what it was saying and what it really means. Also, I experience all the time the promises of God written in the scriptures being fulfilled in my life. When I pray according to His will, He answers me and I receive what I was praying for. When I pray I experience tremendous peace. I am empowered by His Spirit to live life as Jesus commanded, which is a way of life impossible to the unbeliever--impossible to me before. I have been freed from my former sins: I no longer practice them. God has filled me with His love when I was saved and many times since then. It is a real and awesome experience and there is always more but we can't contain it. So yes my friend, Christians certainly know that truth. The only problem is people don't believe us when we tell them that they NEED to believe in Him. I live every day knowing God and knowing that I live forever, by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ! And what could be better than that? What could sustain a person through life's hardships more than that? It completely banishes the fear of death and the utter futility of life without God.
