Super run through, that was a fun one! I really enjoy watching you play and explain the games. Can I ask a question? Are the threats resolved in a particular order or do you get to chose which order they are resolved? I can see that making quite a difference on occasion.

Yes, threats are resolved in a particular order. I forgot to mention this during this playthrough but will bring it up when I do my second playthrough with a different ship. "Threats are activated from top to bottom, left to right, starting with all internal threats, then external threats." (from the Deep Space D-6 rulebook)

When you drew the Nebula, you didn't assign the Medical die to the rescue mission for the psychic. Is there something you need to do before assigning a die to that type of cards? I've never played this game.

When you setup. Do you draw two random threats and place them? Os there any condition where you mullagan?

Just thought I'd say it, solar winds doesn't block you from attacking the orbital cannon, says so in the rulebook.

@@GrayBoardGamer It's in the latest edition rulebook. Apparently the Solar Winds are to be placed "above" the External Threats, which might explain why it doesn't play as an external threat for defensive purposes.

is it worth $52? (current price on Amazon). For that price I'd expect the cards to be fullsize, not mini sized. And when do you win? When you play through the entire deck?

$52 is too high in my opinion, I wouldn't pay more than $30 (including shipping).

Essentially, you can choose to include the final boss as part of the game to determine if you win. If you don't use the final boss, then you just have to get through the threat deck, and you have at least 1 hull point and all external threats are destroyed. If you choose to fight the final boss, then there are a couple of ways to deal with that and when it comes into play.

supercommando440 why would you want full sized cards on a solo travel game? It just creates a bigger foot print and drives up cost.

So... i bought it and I’m regretting it. What are the little circles on the lower right-hand corner on some of the external threat cards? Some of the descriptions on those threat cards absolutely suck, and make no sense.

If there are crew dice circles on the lower right it means you can deal with them like it's an internal threat by assigning dice to it. If it's a black circle with three little squares on the line that is part of the ouroboros ship, which is the boss ship, the instructions for that should be on the inside of the lid of the box.

The 6 cards with little circles are explained on the inside cover. I just bought a first edition copy off of Amazon as well and I found it useful to visit boardgamegeek and tauleadergames websites to get answers to my questions. If you are thinking about getting rid of the game, I might be interested in obtaining a second copy :-)
