Magic Ritchie....very number one......fantastic live version......

It's incredible how much Glen Hughes & David Coverdale carried this version of Deep Purple. So heavy. So glad both of them made it into HOF, well deserved. Seeing both of them love in concert this Summer.

But I suppose Ritchie Blackmore was inducted much much later. and who knows if John lord was ever inducted at all as part of the original Mark I. They say the feud between Ritchie and Ian Gillian was never resolved and that was what fueled the delay.

What a Band and Musicants,sounds more then good,I almoust grying.Lucky one whos been there 1975.

Great performance by MK3 in Europe 1975. Such a pity they were not filmed more often, there's only really this and Japan with Tommy, aside from Maryland 76 and the Stormbringer footage from Europe 75. A band that big should have been filmed every tour, like KISS were.

Stormbringer contains very good songs. Maybe too much ballads (4 under 9 nine tracks) and the songs are missing longer solos and big riffs.

Heard Whitesnake's version from 2015's Purple Album, and it's damn good. Purple's original sounds unfinished to me now.

The video footage seen hear that has been skillfully edited together with audio from a completely different performance was from the infamous California Jam show where Ritchie Blackmore destroyed a camera man's equipment and started a fire on stage. The only reason he was not arrested at the scene was because he was able to make a quick getaway in a helicopter. Later, Deep Purple management remunerated ABC for the replacement cost of the ruined television camera, and Ritchie avoided being criminally prosecuted for his tempermental antics.
