IAN GILLAN.Is unique..Is the very best vocalist...Is the voice unique of DEEP PURPLE.AND THIS IS MUSICIANS..ALL GENIUS.

The opening of this song is the greatest start to an album ever, just straight into it, noise, massive solos, smashing rhythms, sounds like it's soaring off into outer space but then stops just at the right point and comes back down to earth.

I was just 5 years old listening to this gem on my father's vinyl disc player and really enjoying it. I'm almost 34 now and still rocking to Deep Purple. This is a brilliant example of music touching your soul without any linguistic or geographical limitations. Cheers from Kyrgyzstan.

Insane how talented these guys were.

In 2023 still here, nearly 54 years old, loving Purple from my childhood

This burns up my brain like a heat stroke.

That's what's missing with today's Rock / Metal bands.... No originality, nothing new on the table and nothing Memorable. The CLASSIC rock bands will always out shine. 😁🤟

The crowd had no idea what they had just witnessed, fkn awesome, UK.

Starting with an instrumental madness from Blackmore/Lord/Glover/Paice… and then the vocal came in… What an amazing vocalist Ian is. Singer to boots. Phenomenally talented. Deep Purple MKII - the best band ever! Yesterday, today & forever!

I just love how Ritchie ajusts the guitar tuning at 0:58 during the licks like If it was nothing, fucking cool! He was a monster in this show.

The First Rock Guitarist i saw live, Deep Purple in 1970, same year at the collegs i was a Junior in High School, been playing like Ritchie most of my life, hes got a guitar style that takes some thought, Plays inside out and backwards, if you get 'my drift. Black Stratocaster, two Marshall Stacks, im 69 still rocking

I fell in love with Ian when I was 12 years old, I'm 63 now, and nothings changed! His voice rocks me to sleep at night, God bless us ALL for having DP in our lives

A gem! A gem! What luck we captured this in video! Gillan, owns the greatest vocal chords ever!!! Look at the speed Paice drums and the nifty fingers of Blackmore. What a gem to have captured the moment at a time when music was at the peak of civilisation! I love the way the audience could sit still like watching a Mozart piano concerto :)

Oh my... These were the most powerful Deep Purple ever... The 1969/1973 period was the best, in my opinion, and it's my favorite. Thanks so much guys for this gem. RIP Master Jon Lord ❤️🎹 I have a great little wish to express: It would be great for all of us fans if this great band finally made available on video (DVD / Blu-ray) the famous performances from the glorious and historic 1972 Japan tour (Made in Japan), if there are video footage of the time, for me and for many it would be a dream. The last night of the "Made in Japan" tour was filmed and this was unearthed but unfortunately most of it is unusable. They have released all there is including a pretty complete Smoke on the Water. The live in Denmark release is the only full video of that tour available

I love Deep Purple. Love all line ups. But the Mk II has always been my favorite. It actually took me some time to digest and learn how to love the line up with Morse. This video reminds me quite easily why. Though I think all albums with Morse are great, they all miss one simple thing... called Ritchie Blackmore. What a fantastic guitar player he is.

THE BAND, Oro, gold, masterpice. Gods.

Sorry, but I never liked Steve Moore's! Never! I don't even think I saw a complete song with him. I just don't like the way he looks I guess. Sorry. Deep purple with an Gillian audiology purples with David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes. Storm bringer/burn man o man. I love Glen Hughes, bro!
