I don't know why, but watching and hearing Blackmore in this kind of form makes my eyes go moist. As they did in 2014 in Berlin (Blackmore's Night concert) and in 2016 (Birmingham) - although in Berlin, the tears came because I was seeing him live for the very first time, and in Birmingham because his return to rock was one of my fondest wishes. The greatest guitarist of all time, Hendrix included.

An excellent breakthrough album, and Ian Gillan was always way under-rated as a vocalist. If not for Deep Purple, the 80s would have been totally fkd up, musically speaking.

Underrated band. Each member of the version should be listed at some point near the top of their respective instruments. I have always felt Blackmore & Paice in particular are never given enough credit.

Paul Kane When people mention greatest British guitarists let alone guitarist period Blackmore tends to take a backseat to the likes of Clapton,Beck, & Page. I love Beck better than everyone, but Ritchie is right up there for me. Paice has a certain quality that others from that era just don't have.

The solo on the original soundtrack had to be played by someone else….. Ritchie went with a slide and jacked around with the best guitar solo ever recorded on a Deep Purple album…. I know he did not play the original solo…. No way…. And if he did…. He forgot how great it was and should have always been played like the album

You just don't stop trying to fool others, hacking emails that are junk, sending KZread video replies. Your inner circle really cares for yah, but their help will fall short. A scent trail will be delivered. Your time-window to brief all those included is running out, ha.
