@cornucopia8591 I've been aware of Don Airey for decades. I used have both Genn Hughes Phenomenon albums that Don played on. Also the Alaska album. I saw Jethro Tull live twice, during the Crest of a Wave and Catfish Rising tours. A tight band; Doane Perry, Dave Pegg, Don Airey, Martin Barre, and Ian Anderson!! His body of work with so many bands is stellar, Ozzy, Sabbath, Brian May, Wishbone Ash, and Rainbow, to name a few.

Steve Morse is a brilliant guitarist whether he is a good fit for DP or not you can't take away his contribution for 30 years. Listen to Perpendicular and get your ear wax cleared first. No offence taken ✌️

And Steve does fine as well. Richie is never coming back as he has before. I’ve seen him many times and even hav half of one of his Strats from a show at the International Amphitheater many years ago. But Steve has been with them for so many years now that the last tim I saw them many years ago he was already with them.
