This is one of the best song of DEEP FOREST.....My heart cries when I listen it, although I do not understand one word....it is a strange language for me as a German....but the sounds and vocals goes under the skin...I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH !!

Hi, I'm hungarian. For me it's also really hard to understand a word, cause I think the people who sang those songs were not hungarians. But, I really feel the rythm and the tunes are hungarians. 😊👍 I am really proud that a lot of people love our sounds and although we are just a few in Europe we could make such a beautiful tunes for the world. 💖

One of the most incredible songs I've ever listened to It makes me cry over the past and find peace in my heart at the same time.. It's sort of a magic, "joyful pain"...The singers where Hungarian-speaking Roms ( Gipsies), Deep Forest used their records in a way that they better fit into the composition, cutting sentences, therefore what they sing makes no much sense sometimes. But the EMOTION is there. ( While watching the video I couldn't help thinking of the many poor souls getting drowned in the sea or in rivers while trying to reach a better life on the other coast...)

Still brings tears to my eyes nearly 20 years on. 30th August 2003 I would play this whilst driving back to my Mum`s realising but not realising this was to be the last week of her life and the hardest week of mine. Still miss her terribly.😢

Magical, mystical and spiritual music,it brings a calm to the end of your day..the originality and colourful vision of the video is so impressive..a complete package..just the brilliance of Deep Forest...yes.

This thing still tears me up. I remember years ago, I was driving a bus across Death Valley and I played this song through the bus PA, altogether maybe three times at various intervals, thinking everyone would appreciate it. To my surprise this one passeger complained that she didn’t pay money to hear this over and over again. I was hurt by her blunt remark and it brought me closer to my more seasoned colleagues who treated tourists accordingly.

Hay tan poca gente con los que uno comparte que conocen algo de Deep Forest, yo también los escucho hace más de 20 años y puede pasar mucha otra música entre medio, pero siempre vuelvo a ellos para volver a conectarme con Todo... Abrazo muchachos, tienen muy buen gusto y de seguro que si pudiéramos compartir una tertulia o conversar un vino, de seguro estaría esta música como telón de fondo...

so sad..deep forest was one of my childhood songs i listen to..a lot of cultural and oriental sounds in it, which gave me a lot of musical knowledge for creating melodies in todays EDM music producing...good stuff

In 1994, a new friend lent me an eccentric mix of tapes. Mindloss by Gorefest, In Utero by Nirvana and the self titled debut album by Deep Forest. I've never paid much attention to anything else than pop music and MTV before, but those three albums was the start of me exploring different genres of music. 26 years on, I still consider myself primarily a metalhead but Deep Forest holds a magical place in my heart.
