Hey!!! I’m pinning this comment in the hopes other people can tell you! I use Cillit Bang mould remover, but I’d be interested to hear what everyone else suggests. There may be something a lot better out there 😊

I found this info online: The acetic acid in white vinegar attack the structure of the mould and will eventually kill it. Using a spray bottle to apply the vinegar is an effective application method and leaving it for around 15 minutes or so will allow it to get to work. You can then simply wipe it away with a clean, damp cloth. I've used this but found I need to repeat treat some areas. DIY mould remover. This is a great tip for anyone wondering how to remove black mould from silicone sealant. Simply make a thick paste using one cup of white vinegar and two or three teaspoons of baking soda. Work this mixture into the mouldy areas around baths, sinks and windows, leaving a thick layer there to sit for around five minutes and up to an hour - the longer the better. When it comes to removing the paste, use a stiff-bristled nail brush or an old toothbrush to scrub the paste and mould away. Finally, use a clean sponge, dampened with cold water, to rinse the are clean. This is a method that can work on silicone sealant, grout and walls. To make sure all the mould spores have been killed off, finish by spraying the area with a mist of water and vinegar and leave to dry. ❤

I have found mould remover very strong regarding the toxic smell yet not really effective ... Due to the high energy price rise last year we didn't really heat our bathroom and the ceiling became mouldy... I spareyed the cillit bang on it .. but!!! It didn't not even remove a bit.... Not a bit it all just ripped down to the floor and the smell as I said very toxic.... Even with air being well wented...... Than I went to the shop asked for a thing that treats mould they gave me a damp pain.... Me spending 16£ on 400 ml just to bring it home and telling me to treat the cause of it first..... Than I was like crap..... So I got domestos poured it in a disposable plastic food container .. did NOT dialuted it and with a cleaning towel as I wiped it off immediately! Went away.... Haven't come back at all so far and more bearable smell which clears out of the house faster than cillit bang

I currently have task paralysis…it’s the only way to define what’s going on with me. I’m having a break from my two grown children because they have caused me a great deal of distress and pain in the last year. Ultimately I can’t control their hurtful words or actions, but I can work on letting go of what hurts so much based around them. Taking better care of myself, and I need to start a habit of getting outside daily, even if just for 20-30 minutes. I retired in July, after 23 years in stressful healthcare. Now I am awake all night and sleep during the day. There’s no reason to take off my Jammie’s since I get no visitors. We live very far out in the country, so today I’m driving my truck to the garbage dump. That’s my field trip for today. Baby steps…❤

Ignore those that tell you to stop talking. Nobody can make those people happy! (Like you said-there’s a mute button). As a retired cleaning woman of 27 years, I say don’t give up on your dreams! I’m both a writer and an artist. I wrote my first novel while cleaning houses-I kept a notebook handy, and focused on my novel while I cleaned. I jotted down dialogue in segments, plot and character ideas. At night, before I went to bed, I would look at my notes and work them into a chapter. You can baby step ANYTHING. I eventually made my own books, did my own cover art, sold a few in my Etsy shop. Three novels, several short stories, and a novella later, I’m finally saving to self-publish my first novel on Amazon. My first covers were colored pencil drawing. Now I’m painting the artwork for my covers. It’s been a 25-year journey-but I’ve done it a little at a time, as I could squeeze it in here and there, and enjoyed every minute of it. I have five parrots, two rabbits, and run a business from my home, so I have a very busy life, but carving out even a few minutes a day can take you ANYWHERE. You can do it! And have fun! 😊❤

@@remiclog It will take a bit (it’s about $1300 to publish a 300-page novel) but I’ll let you know when it happens, lol. I sold about 30 copies of my handmade book and second novel (Tale of The Bronze Cat) in my Etsy shop to very positive reviews; one went to a lady in France who said she and her husband were reading it together and laughing every night (I write comedy). That was very rewarding for me! I no longer sell my handmade books because they were expensive and labor-intensive to produce, but the positive feedback I received was very encouraging and kept me writing. Don’t be afraid to write awful short stories and paint awful paintings! I did plenty of that, but I persisted and kept working hard to get better. And I did. You can, too.😊

❤❤❤ when I watch your videos it gives me help to motivate me to get at it. I’m 75 now and after many years of cleaning I have a story about having a aha moment when I saw you spot painting. I remember with two active children in tow I became very depressed about the walls being so dirty over time. We were so busy trying to make ends meet that the last thing I could spend money on was decorating costs. So for over 10 years I was so distressed over my house walls. I never thought about doing touching up with paint. That knowledge would have changed my life. I know you are helping people to not be so lonely while struggling with life in general. Never change your honesty and please continue doing your videos. Quite often in life you say something which really helps another person who is struggling. You are doing a great service ❤ happy 2024 May your good health, happiness, and your honesty continue to grow. ❤

Also, I watch your channel primarily for the video essay content... if you didn't talk so much, I wouldn't watch. I can understand when someone doesn't want talking during a cleaning video, because I've found myself searching for the same. It's as simple as searching "no talking" on KZread and youll find a ton. So people commenting for you to be quiet is just annoying to me. I’m working to get out of a depression house situation, so to speak, and nothing helps me stay focused and feel supported than listening to your videos. You are helping my life so much. I hope you never get stuck in the playing-generic-music trap. Everything you have to say helps me. It helps me work through stuff I’ve always just ignored. You feel like a friend. Keep doing what you do.

My neighbour bought me some Elbow Grease and it's fab ,i use it on my cooker ,fridge, kitchen cupboards, the inside of the back door where the dogs rub on it when they are going oút and in. Best thing since sliced bread. It took a 40 yr old to teach this 68yr old new tricks.🤣🤣

KEEP TALKING! It feels like cleaning with a friend. Without any friends or family in the area, you talking while cleaning feels like doing chores with my bestie. Thank you, the videos help calm my anxiety, and let me know that what others can accomplish I can still work towards. You ROCK!
