DEEP BLUE SEA(1999) | FIRST TIME WATCHING | SMART SHARKS | SAMUEL JACKSON | LLCOOLJ | SHARK WEEK🦈🤯😱

#DeepBlueSea #SamuelJackson #LLCoolJ
You all asked for it in the comments so here I am with 1999s DEEP BLUE SEA! This has Samuel Jackson and LLCoolJ in it. On an island research facility, Dr. Susan McAlester (Saffron Burrows) is harvesting the brain tissue of DNA-altered sharks as a possible cure for Alzheimer's disease. When the facility's backers send an executive (Samuel L. Jackson) to investigate the experiments, a routine procedure goes awry and a shark starts attacking the researchers. Now, with sharks outnumbering their human captors, McAlester and her team must figure out a way to stop them from escaping to the ocean and breeding.

If you noticed the first shark in Jaws got blown up like the first shark in this movie. Then the second shark in Jaws 2 got electrocuted like the second shark in this movie. Kind of like a tribute to the Jaws series.

info with Susan When the film was first test screened before it's release in 1999, they saw the ending with Susan surviving. And apparently, they pitched a fit. They didn't think she should survive. Enough of them, that they changed the ending to how it is in the final film.

mako sharks were uses in this film or well it's robotic shark for the movie effect, but for the breed of shark it was supposed to be that they were working on. Mako Sharks. It is the first film of the film series by the same name. Set in an isolated underwater facility, the film follows a team of scientists and their research on mako sharks to help fight Alzheimer's disease.

Fireworks, Michael Rapaport was in Metro(1997) movie with Eddie Murphy, and in The 6th Day with Schwarzenegger. The other guy who's the shark expert is Thomas Jane. I know of him as Frank Castle/The Punisher in The Punisher(2004) movie.

According to research and Google, Sharks don't really like the taste of humans. Do sharks dislike the taste of humans? Do sharks hunt people? Most sharks are not dangerous to humans - people are not part of their natural diet. Despite their scary reputation, sharks rarely ever attack humans and would much rather feed on fish and marine mammals. when near sharks in the water, it is wise that you do not panic as sharks can detect the heartbeat of their prey and they think you're a seal or some kind of animals trying to swim away for run and it causes the shark to become more curious and to go into hunting mode.

Most of the sharks and shark attacks in this are robot and you can watch how they made it it’s crazy- even films now a days don’t even do this

So tiger sharks are very real, however the animatronic "tiger shark" in this movie (which I love this movie!) is so goofy! It literally has the body structure of a mako shark, which makes sense because because the killer sharks in this movie are makos. But it looks like they took one of their makos and painted stripes all over it lolz. Real tiger sharks are more of like a silver grey color with white stripes and they have more square noses not pointed. Anyways great reaction to one of my favorite 90's B-horror flicks!
