India had 0RKM of DFC and in just 5-6 years it has managed to connect north to west and north to east. It’s a great achievement and need to be celebrated. Great job by Indian railway. In my opinion this adds more value to Indian industry than even the Golden quadrilateral.

Unfortunately the reason to complete EDFC is to burn more coal with India witnessing the highest summer temperatures ever seen. For that reason EDFC is not sustainable, we need to switch it’s use to spread use of solar panels across India. To generate electricity.

We should note the only reason to install EDFC and complete it quickly as shown in the video is To Burn More Coal. So sad the senior analyst from TOI doesn’t bring up a single question on that issue. With increasing amount of coal being burned temperatures around the world including India, world is heating fast with this year July is recognized as the warmest since records have been kept. It is the wrong reason to create a DFC. We need to switch to Solar fast.

India had 0RKM of DFC and in just 5-6 years it has managed to connect north to west and north to east. It’s a great achievement and need to be celebrated. Only a fool will come up with some random number out of thin air and tries to criticise the progress just because they hate the current government. This is what Congress has done to our country. Divided the people and their views.
