    Mysuru to Chennai Vande Bharat is faster than Shatabdi, which is running from past 10+ years BY 2 KPH wowowo... 2 kms per hour faster than 25+ year OLD train... very FAST Shatabdi Started Mysuru to Chennai in 1994 ... so it is 28 years old #AshviniVaishnaw

    It is about commitment and a strong willed government mainly. The IIT/Wharton degree is not off much significance here. We previously had many foreign university degree holders. But they weren’t so effective. Let us not glorify foreign university degrees.

    आपकी बात सुनकर बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई कि वास्तव में रेलवे तरक्की कर रहा है लेकिन महू सनावद परियोजना का अवलोकन किया जावे तो मालूम होगा कि ढांक के तीन पात। आपको लगेगा ही नहीं कि रेलवे का निर्माण विभाग कार्य कर रहा है। रेलमंत्री को जरूर इस परियोजना की प्रगति की जानकारी पश्चिम रेलवे से मांगना चाहिए जिससे दूध का दूध पानी का पानी हो जाएगा।

    My friend travelling from thrissur to Kozhikode 150 km by Executive Express train reported that his train was held at Shornur station for 45 minutes. Kerala rail journey is not a happy experience. Everything has changed in the world, right from the baggage type to mobiles and other gadgets in the hands of passengers, but the trains are the same since decades - slow and primitive. I request Vaishnaw ji to make Kerala people happy by sanctioning additional two lines from Kasargod to Thiruvananthapuram, may be as DFCs. And also vande bharat trains travelling at average speed of 100 kmph

    17 year since DFC project was started and still it's not completed. Worst part is that even Construction has not started in Sonnagar to Dankuni section. Whereas we need multiple new DFC in rest of India. Don't get me wrong, Minister is doing great job in passenger segment. But in Freight sector I am disappointed.

    exactly ... there is not much progress on the EDFC ... only about half done, especially the Punjab part. Also what about the other DFCs? not even tenders and funding issued for the East-West DFC and the North-South DFC, let alone the East-Coast DFC from Chennai to Andhra to Bengal. These lines are desperately needed. Just two DFCs to Delhi/Punjab from the coast is not enough. Please start construction on the other three DFCs, especially North-South DFC, are completed by 2030.

    Manmohan singh gave the vision of dfcc in 2005.But his own Congress party delayed and stopped the work for 10 years. Modi ji restarted it with full force on 2014.It is now 70 percent complete.

    Work started in 2017/18 . After too many land acquisition legal challenges after 2013 new land acquisition law. Yes it was delayed due to our VISIONARY MMS. 95% of DFC will be open by 2023 December.

    Why not every city is not conncetd to capital chandigarh (in Punjab with Trains) I sincerely request you to run, two trains not the one which are reservation trains but the Passenger or Intercity express trains between Patiala to Chandigarh in Morning and Evening so that Most of studenst who study in Collges can also travel to theoir home in weekneds , Yes by the Higways is great from Patiala to chandigarh but why not let decrease the burden on roads and Also share the ticket revenue with state goverement , it will be biggest gift for all patiala to chandigarh travellers. Thank You sir

    Sir while we are upgrading trains and electrification why isn’t the pace of track upgrade being equally fast? Most of the trains are having to go slow and have bumpy rides due to poor tracks and signalling. Hope you help fix these issues as well 🙏

    Because that would require much more time. For that time, trains must be given alternative route or cancel. When our railway is already utilising 120%-150% of capacity, there is very slim opportunity to upgrade the track. First thing is being given importance is Electrification because it ensures if we divert trains then there is no Diesel Electric problem for trains. Since Then doubling and tripling of route so one lane can be blocked for work. This year 2022-23 saw highest ever Capital Expenditure on doubling, tripling and Quadrapling route.
