Considering theres an episode of KRBAY where dedede starts panicking everytime he sees kirby just from a simple dream he had, this is 100% something that would happen with dedede.

Gotta say, there is a very limited amount of genuine Kirby 3D web animation like this. The only other one I can think of was abandoned several years ago. The tone you go for with these shorts is very in-line with the games, and It’s pretty fun to watch.

I like how Dedede thought Kirby was also Dark Matter, but he looked like Void.

Well, tecnically kirby IS dark matter, and void is the dark matter that is closest to kirby, so it makes sense.

that dark matter's possessed dedede almost as many times as he's been possessed in general

I love how Kirby becomes one of the forms that Void Termina takes in the Phase 4 and the final QTE part.

I find it kinda funny that Dedede's only experiences with Dark Matter involve him getting possessed & Meta Knight's never even canonically met Dark Matter. If it weren't for Dedede at least helping Kirby throughout the adventure to reach Dark Matter in 64, it'd be pretty much a whole arc Dedede & Meta Knight just aren't consciously around for. If Dark Matter ever canonically shows up again, I want a reaction shot of Kirby surprised, Dededede terrified, & Meta Knight & Bandana Dee unphased. Also, Adeleine should be there because she's vastly underused. It'd be messed up if Kirby really is a similar creature to Void or Dark Matter & he's only nice because he ate so many friendly creatures that he became friendly too. Or because he accidentally hit himself with a friend heart.
