For personal matters Nightmare is an intimidating, dangerous, threatening, and powerful villain of the Kirby franchise. I hope Nightmare comes back in new future Kirby games. Nightmare stands out as a villain who's actually taken seriously than King Dedede and he needs more love and appreciation.

@Rocky Fargher I honestly don't care how "bad" the 4Kids dubs are. Kirby Right Back at ya is one of my favorite shows, along with Yugioh Duel Monsters.

I'm always sceptical whenever a character that has gone for so long without a voice is suddenly given one, but I must say, I love the goofy Ocarina of Time Ganondorf voice they gave Nightmare in Super Kirby Clash.

The new nightmare is missing one of his crucial abilities. Once his cape is closed, he is immune to everything. They could have done a little better. Also Kirby mass attack is like one of my most favorite games.

Need to remind you that the battles have time limit and if it ends you need use crystal apples and the only ways to get them are two:wait 12 houres (or somethig like that) or buy them with ACTUAL money Add the fact bosses have big health-bar and this Idea of the cape would be just unfair

That would have make the game very difficult. Especially when there is a timer involved. Although, I have to admit, that would have been pretty funny on Parallel Nightmare revenge. He'd grow more cautious about his weaknesses and make the fight even harder.

DarkSoul 100 I believe was spelled weird like “EnEmE” but when you say it out loud it sounds like you’re saying “Enemy” cuz well, he’s the enemy. (Also NME stands for Nightmare Enterprises)

Actually there’s lore implications that nightmare and parallel nightmare are the same guy You see parallel nightmare is the only parallel with a reference to the original, the blown up moon, and this also happens to be a death He’s also the only parallel in which he’s original never referenced the another dimension or got influenced by a Jamba heart And since parallels are made of traumas, negative emotions and bad character traits, and nightmares are made of exactly the same thing, then is possible parallel nightmare is just nightmare which has a unfinished body (which is why he can’t tank attacks with he’s cape like normal nightmare) because nightmare couldn’t wait after how little he’s last body lasted because of Kirby

what is cooler? Dark Taranza being shattered or Parallel Nightmare sent blasting-off again

I've been waiting for this... My favorite thing about this video and I never get tired off is how in the Parallel Nightmare fights, the music and actions will sync sometimes at the coolest moments.

It's intresting that they gave him many of his attacks from the Mass attack mini game in Super kirby Clash. Heck, he even has the attack from the cutscene before the 2nd phase in his adventure fight.

Can't believe how amazing is the GBA soundtrack in the final form.

Well, if they brought back Miracle Matter, then they'd have to bring back Dark Matter and/or Zero. I guess it's not too bad considering we haven't really seen them since Kirby 64 (the clone in Robobot doesn't count because it never even reached the full potential of Dark Matter Blade's power). I really love Miracle Matter tho, so I'd be happy if they brought it back somehow, maybe w more sentience and individuality(?)

It's interesting that Kirby's Adventure is still my favorite. His cape is transparent which is cool. That death animation from the GBA game though...

Well now we know why it took him so long to return, he was busy figuring out a better plan rather than fly in guns ablaze to take over Dreamland as soon as the star rod is assembled.

I didn't realize how much Nightmare's original theme still slapped. I don't think I've ever heard a NES theme that goes this hard.

Nightmare was always a weak joke tbh even in the anime that overhyped him

Nightmare is voiced by the same actor who voiced him in the Japanese dub of Kirby Right Back At Ya

Canonically you fight this guy once and he’s trying to take over dream land. I think he’s the guy giving Dedede those monsters in the anime.

It seems like the Star Rod causes him extreme pain and he is pretty helpless against it.

I think I let out a "Woo!" every time I see Nightmare in one of these games. So freaking fun to fight!

When I played my first Kirby game, nightmare in dreamland, I always thought nightmare was gonna be the main villain of Kirby, since he’s embodiment of nightmares.

The longer Nightmare remains on Pop Star, the longer his chin becomes!

To me Nightmare always seemed Lawful Evil in all his incarnations wanting to control the Galaxy with his Darkness, especially in the anime. While Zero is a being of pure neutral to chaotic evil.

The hardest part of the game for me was that cannon switch with the fast waddle dee and doo. The final boss was a massive breeze.

Honestly it would have been super cool if we got one final fight of some sort of “battle damaged parallel nightmare” in kirby clash, and to make that battle more interesting they could include the original soundtrack from kirby adventure

So uh, Nightmare turned into Sans

unpopular opinion: he should have more appearances throughout the franchise and even in the future games, it would actually make more sense if nightmare have more appearances later on because after all... he is a demonic wizard that fuels on fear and bad dreams and his goal is to conquer a utopian planet that relays on good dreams
