First of all, I’m jealous that you are a husband & wife both into art, I am, but my husband is an engineer. 😐 (& our two sons are both at University, training to be engineers! 😕) The reason for this comment is I bought those Deco crayons, so called ‘artist & professional quality’ here in the UK, from a shop called The Range. I have to say, I found them so bad, I chucked both my packs in the bin. I should have known at that price they wouldn’t really be any good. I’ve gone expensive, Caran d’Ache Museum and Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolour and they are both excellent and highly recommended for decent quality watercolour crayons. 🙂

Thank you for the comment, we are indeed very lucky to have met each other over our hobby! :) It is so interesting to see what stores in other countries carry these products, sometimes cheap products like this will surprise you but it's always a small gamble. Going with the aforementioned brand names they certainly should give you the necessary quality control, usability and last but not least - durability, which of course (as many things in life) comes with a price tag. We will also try out products like this in the future! Neither of us has used most of the more expensive products available out there and we can only judge if something works by trying to make it work (and sometimes failing a bit, like with this example). Glad you enjoy doing art regardless! It's great to create ^_^

I have expensive supplies too… but I still adore my “cheap” Crayola 100 box set + 24 COTW extra set…. They’re so pretty and make me happy

@@cazkiwinz4300 We always hear amazing things about Crayola pencils! We haven't tried them yet, so that is something we will look into!
