I use nothing but Ohuhu Markers. They are truly the most satisfying way to draw. It’s like using Microsoft paint with your hands lol. The blending is so flawless, and shading and layering is almost second nature. Like if you had no idea how to shade before using these, they will give you a great idea of what to actually do, and how/why you’re doing it.

Two and a half years late but I can't tell you how much i needed this video. As someone who can't afford expensive art supplies I'm on a constant search for new brands, that have affordable prices but don't just sell garbage. I have been looking into a few of these brands and although pretty short I do get a review here and it helps A TON in deciding which one's are worth my money and which aren't. Thank you!

Those Tria markers used to be amazing, way back in the day - the graphic design programs in Canada used to use them a lot - they were "Letraset Tria Pantone Markers" - I think the company itself was bought out by W&N and have been rebranded - they're now the ProMarkers. Not sure if these Tria's you're using are the same - but imagine those ProMarkers with the three tips, it was amazing!

this is the first jazza video ive had in my recommended in over two years, so id say this video was a success!

I took a break watching the comparisons because I hadntused markers in my art. After some year maybe, I have used many different types (as wwll as many different types of art media). So now I'm watching with brand names and sime experience in mind. Watching roud two, also thank for all your hard work and effort because I have experienced and see it is not a walk in the park. 🤗❤️👍🏽💯

Maryliz Colon the shell is the outside of the marker (basically everything you see except for the tips)

Listening to your decent into madness was friggin hilarious XDDDD This is insanely helpful though! I can agree the Spectrum Noir Classics are pretty bulky. Those ones are their 2nd kind. I prefer the 1st gen, if you will. But definitely interested in trying out some different ones :)

A slightly nutty question for you from NZ: Context: My wife and I work in the same room all day. Me in IT development and wife is an artist that has recently picked up markers as a medium. Question: Since the constant marker cap clicking has become a new nightmare for me to endure, and you have tried literally every marker you could get into Australia, which marker would pass as the softest/quietest marker money can buy today?

I love how you can slowly hear Jazza losing his mind and the first rounds he is using really Arty words and sounds so professional and by the last rounds he is judging markers by their smell.

Amazingly thorough test, but it would have been great to rig the draw so that all the super cheap ones faced off against each other, and then only the best ones have to face up against the dearer ones. That would be helpful for those of us on a budget who can’t afford copics… which lets face it, are likely to win ;) Or maybe publish the top ten with the prices so people can choose the best value for money.

Loved this video. As an artist that has only used markers to color (for the last 15 years, too 😳) I hung onto every second of the video.

I love how you can just see how his sanity is just slowly chipping away

Prisma probably is hands down the best for saturation and vibrancy and Ive never had the drying issue like I do with copics. Not a fan of the big round barrels but the nib quality is great and if the made them refillable they would replace a lot of my copics NGL. I see why car illustrators love them. Definitely want to try WN promarkers though because the blending ability might be the best going,

Saw an ad for a pen that senses the color of your surroundings, and you can actually put the color on paper. It's called the scribble pen or something like that

@Lovinq SunFlowers no offense to anyone but i find it to be really overused. Been seeing it as a comment to most of the videos I've watched for over a year now.

Jazza screams in distance with his australian accent "THE SAME GODDAMN SHELL ON EVERY MARKER" jeeez I love this accent, plus it makes much more intense

This is pretty much a documentary about a man's slow decent into marker-induced madness.

The fact that you had your credit card stolen TWICE just for buying markers is good enough for me. You deserve a like for your dedication

I have a 168 set of touchbool markers (yet another brand of touch markers) which I got for $70 NZD and I actually really like them. they are good quality especially for the price and I love using them
