Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Watch AREA designers Piotrek Panszczyk and Beckett Fogg deconstruct one of their couture-worthy ensembles. This bustier, which is made up of over 86,000 crystals, has nearly 580 yards of cup chain and was made with hours upon hours of hand stitching.

I wore a £25,000 dress for my old job as a model and I BROKE IT 😭😭
Vogue, you guys got to make Deconstructed into a series! The artistry that goes into making garments! OMG!
This is so interesting! This proof that fashion isn’t only pretty clothes, there’s a lot of construction on it

Thank you. that’s why it expensive💯
I remember watching them in the fashion fund series a couple years ago. Cool to see them getting more and more recognition a couple years later.
Vogue probably gave thousands of dollars to the designers to deconstruct the dress.

But not more of what they could’ve gain by maintaining it in perfect state for many years (price X3).

Lol I can assure you they didn't. This is Area's chance to show the public (or people who aren't familiar with the brand) what they're about. Content like this is what makes the brand money on the long run. Exposure exposure exposure.

No, read my comment above about why they [probably] deconstructed it.
Think about it on how hard to put Crystals in each parts and needed to be straight. This will be an Iconic Dress❤️❤️

So that the crystals can be reused. For example, they do the same to the Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra. If it is not sold after a year, the bra is deconstructed so that the gems are used for other things.

@@jcaylalove8713 Uh, yes actually. High fashion isn’t made in factories; it’s made in ateliers. Designers create such pieces and it’s almost insulting for you to say that this is a product of slave labor. High fashion costs top dollar for a reason, no expense is spared. Why argue when you know nothing and can’t even back up your statement with evidence or reasoning? Please feel free to explain this time around.
Showing a garment being made is cool, but taking it apart is also interesting!
Anyone else get emotional seeing them “deconstruct” their masterpiece
Area has been one of my favourite houses for a while now, I’m so glad they finally getting the attention they deserve
Beyond mindblown!! The patterns make so much sense once they’re reconstructed!! I wouldn’t have even thought of the separate pieces for the braided look. Amazing. What a dream 🥺 Im so inspired, I might sew something like this for my fashion dolls on my channel ✨✨

I'm so fascinated by the entire thought process of fashion pieces like this... It's really a gift to be able to listen and understand the concept and then construction of this garment
Amber Scholl needs to see this. And DIY a cheaper version of this.

You can actually make this exactly the same way as they did. Just use brass and glass cupchains. You can order 10 yards for 7 bucks on aliexpress or amazon
we need a million more of these videos. I have such an appreciation for the designers after this. They are the ones who deserve the credit.
Omg this made me nervous. As much as I do want to see the construction, it’s such a gorgeous and really well made piece of couture. Simply sublime.
I am way more interested in this series than any influencer/celebrity interview.
This video makes me appreciate haute couture more
@tonita88

This is not haute couture. It's just a rigorously embellished garment, but not in the neighborhood of certified haute couture.
Fashion Nova will selling broken crystal dresses by the end of this.
I am sweating looking at all that unpicking. What a masterpiece
Two things stand out, for me: 1) I would not consider this beautiful piece of art as a dress. It’s more like a halter vest. 2) They never mention how heavy this piece must be. Those crystals must be far heavier than bugle beads or any type of bead, for that matter.
The absolute ARTISTRY that goes into making this masterpiece is insane
This was so amazing and interesting!! Please do more of these videos! Also, AREA are AMAZING!
Oh so so fascinating. Kinda horrible it being pulled apart but so worth ti see it being taken apart and described at every step. Hope to see more videos about the actuall construction of garments 💕
i am i the only one wondering the time it took to make this dress
Such a treat to be able to see how it’s constructed!!!!! Hope you will continue with more of these. 😍😍😍😍😍😍
The tailoring is honestly magnificent. To make it look like it's completely made of crystals woven together yet it still has a silk lining underneath...
Loved this. Learning more about the artistry behind the pieces is the type of content I want to see more of.
aw wow i love the song they put in the background, one of my faves
The garment engineering on this piece is stupendous! It's like vintage Balenciaga gowns didn't follow a traditional pattern it was more sculpture with textiles ♥ wonderful video!
Great video Vogue - would really appreciate more content like this. Thank u!
OBSESSED this kind of content! We need more 😍
i like this video series so much. looking forward to more!
Really makes you respect the craft. So incredible ✨
Wow!! This was just amazing!!! Thank you so much for showing the construction of this complex and elaborated garment! It’s rare to see the people involved in the creation of such piece actually undoing it to show is how it’s made.... 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 absolutely inspiring!
More MORE OF THIS, lots of love, costumers.
this is actually so interesting! thank you vogue for this content
This makes me want to design sooooooo much more.....this video was awesome
Incredibly beautiful dress and artistry
It's sooo beautiful!
SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! The true savoir-faire
MAKE THIS A SERIESSSSSS
This look was absolutely stunning! I loved every inch of this dress😍😍 These models are so lucky they got to wear this😩 why are they taking it apart, will they be reconstructing another piece with it?
Thank you for showing just how a beautiful unusual garment is made. I am in awe. Just so many progress. I do wonder and possible always will what it feels like to wear is it heavy or soft and how does one clean it.
This video and that dress are both masterpieces
Spectacular! New level of respect for the brand.
OMG< this is amazing content! such a treat to learn about the intricacies of the process of how this was constructed.
really appreciate this much more now
Are there more of these? I'm sure sewing enthusiasts are drooling everywhere. I know I am. I really appreciate how gentle they are with the garment.
Beckett is a real fashionista; I love that outfit😂😍👌💕
Thank you for sharing Vogue!Hope everybody here becomes successful on KZread

I remember them!! They were a team contestant in the CFDA contest.
amazing c'est original!
Wow, so interesting! Filming the construction might have been a better idea than having to deconstruct such a beautiful garment.
Please tell me they put this back together afterward 🥺🥺
Vogue content quality is improving this is what we want to see vogue! Not celebrities showing off how rich they are
Yumm. More please .
Wow thanks for this.

Also, the dress material is beautiful😂💁♀️😘💕

I dont understand a thing they talk about except for their PASSION😍.
The knowledge I want them for my wedding gown 😩
Respect!
I would love to wear something like thissss💕💕
I'd love to have a whole suit out of crystals. So adequate, precious and formal.
The reality, not practical to be worn even occasionally but whn u made it expensive, ppl will bow to it
This is Art.
That piece is absolutely beautiful but how do you sit on or with it? I guess the crystals would be painful or uncomfortable even with all those padding.
Micarah Tewers come here gurllll
Woww.. thank you vogue. Please next do zuhair murad dress or dior
Beckett Fogg gold ring was nice. What is the brand of that ring she is wearing on her right hand? Thank you
wow Beautiful .. i want to wear that but its to late
As a side note: I’ve always wondered how one estimates figures such as “there are [blank] many sequins/crystals/beads/rhinestones/diamanté/fringe/feathers/paillettes/etcetera on this garment”. I always assumed it was just an educated guess lol.
Awsome dud
