Lol yeah I have my subcal to finish filming but I'm waiting for the ground to freeze a bit to take it out for a test fire for the video. The guy pissed me off enough for me to quickly make this video instead of the ones I had planned.

Do you think one of these could fire if bumping the stock too hard on the ground? My wife's grandfather did just that with his 311 according to the police report from 1958. It said it was an accident and an instant death. Poor guy took a slug up through his head.

I guess if you have a very dirty or modified gun or bad maintenance? Could also have been suicide and the officer was helping the family by saying it was accidental. The firearm would need to be tested to know for sure. Could have also gone to catch the falling gun and accidentally pulled the trigger.

@@Stray03 Yeah I've often wondered that. He was a well known business man in the area who owned a farm. Hunting groundhogs with the shotgun was something he did often. The gun in the pictures looks well used, but without it, we'll never know how it was internally at the time. Thanks for your response.
