My grandpa's trusty ground hog and rabbit slayer. Put a lot of meat on the table back in the day!

BTW I enjoy your youtubes and so does my wife. My Grandfather was from Grayson County near Caneyville.

I grew up with a single shot Stevens 94 in 410. Recently bought an old mossberg bolt action. Love it. I’ve been reloading 410 for the past 2 years now. Hulls and primers are non existent on the market. Haven’t saw a box of 3in 410 on the shelf in 2 1/2 years. Maybe this will be the year.

Had one years ago actually got pretty good with it even on birds. Yep a .410 also a great squirrel and rabbit gun. Brought back some memories enjoyed it thanks Sarge. Got me in the mood to get another one.

Brings back memories! I had one back in the 1970's and 80's. Killed a truckload of game with it. Problem was, I shoot left-handed and the trigger guard kept slamming into the base of the middle finger of my left hand during recoil, especially when I pulled the forward trigger, producing a huge, painful knot. Took a long time for that swelling to heal and go away.

Thinking I need a .410 after watching, even if would be a single shot break action for rabbits, another good one George!

I had that exact gun but the hammer springs were very short and weak probably from age and fatigue and it would fail to fire half the time. I checked a couple of more modern break actions and the hammer springs are much longer which is probably a big improvement.
