It’s from the FAA. You can google something like “FAA remote id graphic” and it’ll come up.

My UAS (DJI Air 2s) has a DoC for RID on the FAA website. I see no DoC for Operations over People using the filter. What does the vendor (in this case DJI) need to provide to get this DoC?? Thanks for the great videos.

Hi Mark, those requirements are outlined in 107.160 if you want to take a look. I’m glad it’s DJI doing it and not me! They have hopefully started the process some time ago. Welcome to the course!

@@PeltierPhoto thanks! I signed up for your course. Liking it so far. better than others. DJI states they meet the Remote ID (and have the DoC) but I don't see how they do since there are no hardware mods done to the drone or controller. Was the transmitter already builtin to the drone for this function? I can see the software being upgraded, but...

Awesome, thanks for the feedback! Yes, the built-in transmitter already met the hardware requirements, it was just a matter of updating the firmware to broadcast the specified information.

I’m pretty sure it’s only hackers at this point, the only legit receivers are for law enforcement/FAA.
would this be on the 107 exam?
