The E/P button on the gear selector stands for Economy/Performance modes, push it it goes into Performance mode and will hold shifts longer for faster acceleration and better hill climbing. It will stay on Performance mode until you push button again for economy mode or until you turn truck off.

Also, did you know that you have a two speed reverse gear as well. You can really back up fast. You have to shift it manually while backing up

Hi John...some inexpensive paper plates, small bag or box of mixed plastic utensils - you need spoons for your yogurt. Get a small flat container or box to store things that do not need to be refrigerated and put peanut butter, catsup, mustard etc., in and store/place it on the top bunk bed. The box will of course be secured by the straps affixed to the top bunk. Bread does not have to be refrigerated the day you purchase it, it can sit out for a last a day or so. ***Will the latter fit behind the passenger seat if you move the seat forward a bit?***

Your suspension gauge may be in KPA from factory easy to change it to psi in setting. You will find susp gauge in main screen, use the toggle on the right hand side of steering wheel and scroll to find it

Pick up a small swiffer duster, my new Volvo is a huge dust collector and you and I have the same colour and designed dash. I can’t believe how fast it accumulates. Just a suggestion cause it will drive you nuts!! 😆

I sent him a youtube link and a google search link where to buy them yesterday. Not to mention, that he is short, so he needs one of those things in any event. Anyway, it's so fast and easy, that I usually dust my interior every day. One of the best contraptions I ever bought for my truck. As it's so easy to keep your truck always immaculate on the inside with that thing.

You need to download the owner's manual to your phone and read about Grace

Uncle Larry has a back up cam. Larry can do a load scale in twenty minutes he has done so many boss man has to get one for your trailer John.

John that cab is a studio / condo sleeper. If you put the mattress that cane with the truck on top of the top bunk with the other mattress. I am sorry to say my brother need more salad and fruit, use light vinergret no ceasar or ranch. You are at least 6 inches shorter than Larry and I and you weight as much as we do. Lol still my favorite truck driver.

I have a black polymer folding table that I bought at Wal-Mart and that I use to put my George Forman on or my electric skillet on for when I'm cooking in the truck. When not in use, I store it behind the passenger seat. As I don't have a ladder because I'm tall.

Perhaps a mount to the right of the CB for the GPS. Drove a 2017 Volvo that had a table in the back. Very nice for thanksgiving dinners but if you sleep in the top of the condo and forget that's where you are in the morning it could be bad. LHL LIVES. He would like Grace too much if he drove her.

Wow! That's a lot pizza, sounds like there are going to be a lot of Pizzas being eaten for Christmas Parties. Here's a shopping list; Mayonnaise, Salt and Pepper, plastic ware, paper plates and bowls, cereal, sugar, or a sugar substitute, ( honey is good for colds as is lemon,) fruit to go with the cereal. What you need to do is use a bin like the one you have. In that bin put all your staples like, Can goods, nonperishable food stuffs. Also get some plastics forks, spoons and knives for that container. Since you will be on a Christmas break don't be buying loads of stuff like the Yogurt. Mayo, Mustard, etc; also paper plates, paper bowels for your cereal. With the stuff in the container it will be more stable to use as a table. Save room in the freezer once you have the micro in the rig for frozen dinners, Weight Watchers are pretty good and for you!

Good afternoon JBG, deont know if you'll see this or not but just wanted to ask you if I may in regards to your new gps setup that you have with the laptop being positioned on the passenger seat of your truck, did you say at one time and do apologize if I missed you saying this or not, but did you say that you tried using a cable that plugs into the laptop then then other end of the cable would go into the camera that you are currently using to give us your in-cab shots so maybe you could maybe do a picture in picture sorta thing like I have seen you do when you use one of your GoPros to show us in a small insert your tucks dashboard, then maybe you could do a PIP showing us the GPS on the laptop?????????

What I stock up on when I'm on the road is a lot of Uncle Ben's Rice in a variety of different flavors that you just heat up in the microwave oven on high for a couple of minutes. I also buy a variety of different cans of beans and peas to eat with the flavored rice, and for meat, I buy large bags of frozen meatballs, that I heat up in the microwave real quick, sausage, that I have to actually cook in the microwave, and bags of frozen fajita chicken or beef that I just heat up in the microwave real quick to also go with the heated rice and beans or to throw into salads I fix. I often buy several heads of lettuce, a container of spinach, tomatoes, a bottle of extra virgin olive oil, and vinegar for making salads. I also buy a lot of boiled eggs out on the road to eat in the salads, and chicken fajita meat also works really well in the salads. I also keep a cutting board and a ceramic knife that doesn't need to be sharpened in the truck as well for chopping salads and onions. Hell, I even have a garlic press in the truck. For breakfast in the mornings, I usually cook three or four poached eggs in the microwave. It's very quick and easy and eggs are very nutritious, so they usually keep me from getting hungry before lunchtime. I also buy and eat avocados for breakfast a lot of times. I mix the scooped out avocados with a little olive oil and vinegar and season well with Tony Chachere Creole Seasoning. It's very tasty and avocados are considered to be a very healthy and nutritious superfood. I also buy various sizes of disposable plates and bowls and utensils. Clorox wipes, aluminum foil, and large ziplock bags also come in very handy as well. I also keep a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jelly in the refrigerator for snacks as well. Now, I also keep my George Foreman in my truck and a pretty large electric skillet as well that I use occasionally to cook steaks, chicken, pork chops, hamburgers, and egg omelets with, and when I use them, I usually cook up enough to last three or four days at a time. I like to use the George Forman the most because you can line it with aluminum foil and thus afterward, there is no cleanup. Simply throw the used aluminum foil in the trash. For baking potatoes, I also have one of those potato pockets to quickly bake potatoes in the microwave. So, I also keep butter or margarine, sour cream, and bacon bits in the refrigerator on hand in the truck as well. I also keep bags of shredded cheese for eating with steamed broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, and other snacks as well. So I also have a couple of different size plastic steamers I also keep in the truck to steam vegetables in the microwave with. Of course, mayonnaise and mustard for making sandwiches and hamburgers, and ice cream and flavored yogurts for deserts and snacks. I also keep a small grill and a bag of charcoal in the outside storage compartment for grilling up steaks or for barbequing chicken and pork on occasion and usually when I'm on a 34-hour break. As for as drinks go, I usually buy large containers of powdered Lipton Ice Tea that I mix in plastic two-liter empty coke containers. A funnel and a measuring cup come in handy for mixing that up together. I think I eat pretty well for being out on the road. After all, if you are a trucker, your truck is really your primary home. So, no need to suffer and scrimp when you are out on the road. Plus fixing your own food in the truck is much cheaper and healthier than fast food. I also have Direct TV with a DVR to watch and copy my favorite football team's games with, an Xbox to play games with, a blue ray DVD player to watch movies with, and a 24-inch flat screen TV.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Keep microwave popcorn and chips for snacks.

The workstation is optional, your truck does not seem to have it.

I hear a lot of drivers say how with the elog it almost makes them drive when they are tired and forces them to sleep or rest when they are full of energy. Also lettuce and tomatoes for those sandwiches and some type of fruit

Hi John, I buy toung depressers on line, 1000 for 10,12 bucks,penny a piece. Work great for spreading stuff, I eat yougart with them! Works great, cheaper than plastic knives! You can put about 200 in a Ziploc bag. You'll have to try it! Peace, Kenny 🤙🤙

just a suggestion I used to get a box of laundry detergent the powder kind tear the top off the box then put it behind one of the front seats it worked pretty good to keep the inside fresh

Get rid of the ladder, find a way to mount it on a tripod, and strap the tripod to the passenger seat so it won't move and rotate the screen so you can see it better. The ladder, will it fit in one of the compartments on the outside? Edit: scratch the outside compartment, strap it inside the trailer, maybe lock it there so it won't walk, unless you think it way be in the way of loading and unloading the trailer.

Get another box put dry food items in it. For microwave cooking need some plastic bowls. Heavy duty. Some Saran Wrap.try to piUt ladder behind passenger Seat. That blu box you had could go down in the lower cabinet bottom left side. There is a small table that u can get. Saw it on a video of a couple that has a Volvo truck shows all the items. They carry and where they put them . They make those interconnecting carpet squares. U could buy those soft side boxes and put on upper bunk ....

The truck is heavy because Larry with you LOL

Alot of us still us them. I use mine all the time especially in bad weather. It was people like john and all these newer truckers that quit using cbs because they only care about them selves and dont show respect to other truck drivers

Corey Rogers Have you heard the language being used on the CB lately? John is a Christian, he doesn't care for foul language, but he does use a CB when he finds it necessary.
