So I am kind of new here and I do a different style of Taekwondo but im not really sure what its called. The main difference is that we always have our hands up so they are already covering most of our bodies because we are turned to the side. My question for you is do you have any suggestions maybe combinations or fakes or something to get past that and land a hit because I find it quite difficult and don't know what to do when they are covered up.

You would have to switch levels. Go head level so they start moving their arms in that direction and then switch on body level. Pretty much the changing patterns part and changing levels.

@@W1Taekwondo We usually have one hand blocking or head and one blocking our body and since we are sideways it covers basicly their whole body. I will try this but Im not sure that it will work. Thank you though!

@@bobjoe5907 one can never block/cover all the spots. We all have only 2 arms so your job is to find them. You will have to conduct certain actions that opens them up. For example if one arm is on the body and one head level, the front of the body as they stay sideways is open right under the arm. The outside of their body is open as well where you can throw crescent kicks over the shoulder to head level from close distance.
