One of Debussy's beautiful pieces and possible my all time favorite from Debussy. Thank you for this wonderful video!
Would of never thought about releasing the pedal at slower speed. Thanks for the videos :)
awesome! I learned this piece almost 2 years ago and I'll definitely play this piece again!
Thank you Josh ... this is one of my grade 7 pieces this year I’m currently learning ... such a beautiful piece
First time I heard this piece was on a u-tube video called 20 classical pieces you have heard but don't know the name of' sort of video. He played just the beginning but it went right into my soul. I didn't understand how so many pieces I hear don't have a strong effect on me yet some did. I watched the video again with a pen and paper and wrote down all the pieces I liked very much and this introduced me to classical music. Now I can't stop listening to it. I like the softer slower pieces like Prelude in Cmaj and Pavan for a dead Princess ect. I play guitar for a long time and so I can play about 100 Beatles songs from their song book of 300 songs. They did all this in just 7 yrs which is astonishing when you see the quality of their songs. I need to know how some pieces can take your breath away so what is it that does that. I love melody more than anything which is why I love The Beatles so much I guess. I now want to buy a piano at some point when I get my life back in order after a couple of crisis that have happened to me but I need to do this to save my sanity. I can't buy a real piano but there are some very good sounding keyboards that feel like a piano these days from Yamaha and many other brands.
Great help on the pedaling!
Incredible piece ❤
Thank you for this. I just finished learning this piece. Now working on the other more important stuff (voicing, tempo, etc). So many different versions and interpretations. Debussy apparently didn't care about tempo from the original recordings I have heard lol.
Thanks!!!! Arabesque no1 always remembers me the end of Liszt's Sposalizio
Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰
Awesome!! Thanks!
best titorial. thanks
Thank you 🙏
I tried to learn this piece back in summer 2019, but the thing that got me leave it appart was those triplet at the right hand while duet at left oneI really hoped to see you cover it. Anyway, really interesting
Thanks🙏
Great video
I will review this piece with images of light and pedaling with a bit of overlapping! Thank you!
What the hell are you! We came all the way here with algorithms. I think I got to know a great pianist. I'll subscribe and go! I hope you'll have a good performance.

Yeah about same lol.
I just looked this up on the web and you had just posted a new vid
Mr. Wright, how do you put up the keyboard screen on the bottom with the main screen? I have iMac for online lesson and use one USB web camera to show my hands from above. I have to switch back and forth between web camera and FaceTime camera, which is cumbersome now. If you could give me advice on that I would appreciate it so much!
can u do Bach Partita No 6😍🤗
Do you know you hunch while playing expressively?
At the first a tempo, do you recommend playing the right hand more as triplets? Most people I hear play that section almost seem to play it in groups of 2 instead if that makes sense (which gives a bigger sense of it falling down rather than alternating)

When I first learnt this I used to play that section in groups of 3 in the right hand, mainly because I found it easier. Now I group the notes in 2s, precisely because of the falling down effect you mentioned (I visualise autumn leaves falling). Took a while to re-adjust but I prefer it that way.
