    Basketball Examined your video is posed as a objective judgement, but your argument against Lebron was solely based on his regular season team’s record. But you didn’t highlight ANY per game stats between him and the guys who won MVP. Also, you didn’t give any mention to voter fatigue which definitely is a factor in the outcome of the voting.

    The entire notion of believing LeBron deserved Rose and Curry's MVPs is asinine. The media should be ashamed. Rose and Steph were so valuable to their teams and franchises during those years; both of which were having down years before their arrivals. But the only defense the media have is because LeBron is one of the best players ever.

  • @Trejohnsmith

    @Trejohnsmith

    4 жыл бұрын

    Exactly I don't think LeBron deserved both of Steph's MVPs. They won 67 games that year. GS that year blow teams out left and right especially at home both years they finished 39-2 at home 39-2 they almost went 41-0. While the Cavs barley won 50 games both years while LeBron was coasting especially that 14-15 season. As for D Rose LeBron even said himself that D Rose deserve the MVP that year so I don't know why people try to defend and say Bron deserved it when HE DIDN'T THINK HE DESERVE IT. Then people say he even deserve KD MVP but KD averaged 32, 7, and 5 while almost winning 60 games with Russ missing half the season while the Heat won struggling won 54 games. Explain this Bron fans.

He lost two seasons after snapping his leg, one recovering, the other forgetting how to play good defense. More recently the Celtic lost Hayward on the same problem, just taking one more season to regain his confidence and athleticism. The Raptor were the contender team but DeMar and Kyle not being the franchise players they should have been transferred the championship window to the Kawhi-era. And the Cavs were battling issues solely created by LeBron's inability to trust his teammates and his pesky habits of wanting to overrun his coaches, Blatt, chose Yes-men with no clues, Lue, and play LeGM. Nice try, but no cigar. Come back with a better, or real, analysis.

  • @Chocolouf

    @Chocolouf

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@Pit_1209 Ignorant BS. LeBron is only the most important in all his teams because he forces his teams to play through him. Hence, why his bench units and his team when he's hurt, are always so terrible. No other player forced his team to play by him so much while expecting better results than what was realistic. He forces the ball out of his PG, don't want to play or move off-ball, apart his 2nd, 3rd and 4th years at Miami, and wants to run the show so much, he forces his coaches to call "his" plays and if not, hijack them and then forces the GM to fire them. And he's only leading in assists because he's settling for instant easy baskets instead of letting the ball go to another player and taking it back after a few passes, it's the old Chris Paul's Clippers way, which lead them nowhere when he was injured. It works on the short term, but on the long way, his teammates became uninterested in putting efforts, like in Cleveland, and didn't play defense enough. This time it's only working because he has a fully stacked and dedicated team on the defensive end, but it costs him the statistic leadership, hence the MVP legitimacy. People forget it, but he's having a defensive-minded coach as well as players who are considered elite at defense, or were a few season ago : Green and Bradley at SG, AD at PF, McGee and Howard at C. and some considered good like KCP at SG and Morris at SF/PF.

    No major news source covered that "LeBron James visited a clinic in Miami" story where Rich Paul was rumored to have picked up PEDS for an "L.J". Where's the proof, man? Which doctor writes "L.J" on prescribed medication? Shouldn't doctors be required by law to clearly type out the persons full name, address, and phone #, on a label and paste the label on the medication container? How often do doctors at clinics allow grown men (like Rich Paul) to pick up other grown men's (like LeBron) medication? Why would Rich Paul of all people be the one to pick up LeBron's medications for him? And wouldn't someone need to sign for it too? No evidence to support your claim, whatsoever. There just isn't anything there but you're one of the very few people trying your hardest to speak something into existence. By the way, steroids are supposed to have negative effects. I have yet to see it show on LeBron's body physically. We're a few years shy of the 10 year anniversary of that "clinic" story and he's playing like he's in the body of a 25 year old. Suspicions/Allegations are exactly what they are. Just that. But again, certain medications are legal in the NBA and some aren't. You and I both have yet to see LeBron and Jordan's medical records in order to see the truth with our own eyes. I have yet to see LeBron kicked out of the league for anything.

    One of the dumbest things I see whenever I go on Twitter or any part of the internet are fans of Lebron James always asking the stupid question, "Why do people hate on Lebron so much?" They don't realize that _they_ and the media are the reason that people are so hesitant to credit him with anything. This man gets gassed up 24/7 by so many people that it's hard to really acknowledge his accomplishments when he really deserves it. And this year has been an alltime worst in this regard. When you have multiple people in the media attempting to use *Kobe's death* to push Lebron James' MVP narrative, there's something severely wrong. There was even one idiot that tried to use the COVID-19 pandemic to fuel Lebron's MVP campaign. A freaking pandemic. It's insane the lengths people go to gas this guy. They don't even have to do it, either.

    @@weneedhim526 It's sad that the extremely vocal minority makes the whole group look bad. I figure most Lebron fans aren't like what I mentioned, but you see so many of the bad ones online constantly gassing up Bron and slandering everyone else (MJ, Wilt, Kobe, etc.) that you come to root against Lebron just so those morons will shut up for a bit. It's sad. I respect Lebron's body of work and I firmly believe that he has a very strong case as the greatest of all time, but it's hard to heap praise at the guy when you interact with some of his fans.

    people forget that team success plays a huge role in the MVP race. There’s a difference between the best player in the league and who the MVP is. That stat doesn’t determine who the best defensive player is because it doesn’t take in account who they’re on the court with or who they’re defending it only shows how many points the other team scores while they are on the floor per 100 possessions. You can’t determine the DPOY of that stat it doesn’t tell the full story is what I was trying to say and I’m a collegiate coach not some dude on the couch
