So we know that Warfarin was mentioned,being an immortal vampire and such,and probably the other immortals are still around,the Nian siblings for example(along with the other Feranmuts),so we'll have to see. Chen Qianyu is a descendant confirmed,as per her file,Ch'en Hui-chieh is a clan legend for the House Of Chen,makes me wonder what she thinks about her aunt. Angelina being more then just a clone,apparenly that Heterocore has also retained some developmental aspects that one gets when growing up,which would be different for an actual clone. This is,of course,all in the Endmins' mind as part of their hibernation aspect,so probably what they're seeing is what was directly passed down to them,and not all the deaths were heroic in nature,Atro being one of them. Perhaps as the main game progresses,more and more those graves will be given legible names,for Operators who have fallen in the line of duty,those who have passed of old age,graves for non-Operators who were tragically lost or passed away peacefully,and maybe some extra bits,like mentioning that they've left family behind or a quote that best descibes their life. Perhaps they should even let you revisit this area of the Endmins' mind so you can always refer to it,there's a lot of good things that can be done with this,and I just hope they don't let sit by and do nothing more with it.

@@AlFahn-iw5lg ,with no confirmation,we don't know. We do know that there were generations worth that fought in the North to get access to the portal that leads to Talos-II. Oripathy,however,is still a thing,but by the time of Endfield,at some point,Rhodes Island has managed to drop it from a lethal terminal ilness to a chronic minor lifelong discomfort,ain't no cure,but definitely a great result,so long as you keep to your strict medical schedule. And yes,Meteors' midriff is definitely world ending stuff.

@@NareshSinghOctagon "Oripathy,however,is still a thing". And thats already a massive issue. So we know that everything we do in Arknights is end up in this result. It completely hardlocks Arknights lore in that regard. Endfield is a mistake with it being in the same timeline and in the future. Either make it an alternative timeline or have it be set in the past (and there is A LOT of stuff to cover in the past. Not to mention fleshen out)

No abyssal hunters in this game... literally unplayable.

What I personally am looking forward to more is seeing Kristen Wright again. This is just straight up sad. Ofc like 99% of ops wont make it to 500+ years but just the implications that all we witness now lead to this future and they're all dead makes me quite sad in general. This also opens up questions of bloodlines, descendants etc etc But I think the biggest thing to me is how little the current lives of our operators mattered in the grand scheme of things. The world moved on without them and I just hope they lived long, fulfilled and happy lives. This dropping around the release of Eyja Alter, with Eyja herself having quite the sad story, losing hearing etc, just crushes my heart a tad more.

Its a dumb move. They limited where Arknights can go to story wise with Endfield being in the future while Arknights is still the main game. Its amazing how not a single company has learned this considering it backfired every single god damn time.

Amongst other stuff the moment Endfield comes out. Its a testament to stupidity and nothing else. They could have easily made it a prequel to clarify some stuff they dont want to put in Arknights or make it an alternative timeline all together and the people would still have played the living poop out of it.

Of course. Green Pea, Seventeen, and Kerg were members of Ace´s squad. They stood back in Chernobog in order to ensure Amiya and Doktah´s escape route, but ulitmately were killed in action alongside Ace. .They also appear in the A1 Operations Preparation Detachment manhua.

I would love to see Kristen be playable or have some sort cameo if her cryo pod really lived that long

I doubt her cryo pod can live that long. Sarcophagus was never build to slow aging based on is3 end 4. So doctor being able to survive 10k+ years probably due to his race have a long life.

This comes down to time dialation due to speed. The faster you travel,the slower times moves for your locality,so if Kristens' ship goes fast enough,depending on what path she takes and how far away Talos-II actually is,it is entirely possibly for her to only have aged a few years in the current 500 span between AK and AK:E. Go fast enough,and you can even drop down that number to months. Of course,if she shows up,she'll get to be the unhappy camper who realises that taking the portal might've been a tad bit easier.

Normal Human can't cook instant noodle inside mouth and doctor have blue blood based on chap 8 epilogue and one of doctor option dialogue in Lone trail state doctor have blue blood.

Me realizing that this graveyard would *probably* expand in later events of AK...

So that means our Skadi didn't turn into the Sea God and destroyed the world. While, I'm sad that my favorite Orca is no more, who is to say her disciples or even descendants might have survived. After they solved the sea problem, I'm sure Abyssal Hunters might will come in handy.

Sad yet happy knowing that the lore includes that not every character we love gonna survive "Time"

If she was lore accurate the gameplay would be too easy since most enemies are significantly weaker than her. If her lore accurate positions was considered for story and events we probably couldn't use her most of the time.

Even then we continue to walk forward for the brighter future of the infected and also to enjoy the peace that they sacrifice

@@isaiah5519 It's just a dumb decision in my opinion, there was no need to set the spinoff/sequel 500 years into the future, they even realized that because they're removing every reference that hints that its 500 years into the future. Why would they even think it was a good idea? It's not like the technology in endfield are years more advanced then the stuff we see in Arknights now, it just feels like they wanted to really have a clean slate so they set the setting so many years into the future but even then they still decide they needed a fan favourite character back so they cloned Angelina. So many stupid decisions in Endfield that just straight up confuses me, Even Girl's frontline 2 sets the sequel game 10 years into the future because having a 500 year time skip is so ridiculous, for what purpose?

The whole 500 years ahead giving me Adventures Time ending vibe. Im sad thinking about it, like your fav operator or the one whom mostly appear in the story, could have passed away, its like you miss them, what they usually do and all that. Idk, playing Arknights felt like you are in the past lol

Sad, but it is what it is, we are as well can not escape the death. Arknights, one of the best game i've ever played, and i'm still playing it 'til this time, waiting for the Enfield for sure.

Even if this is happening in far future from first Arknights, it's quite a bold move to do a graveyard like that in game with characters that people remember from the first game.

Hoping they don't dig too much into the past when the game does release, such as what's happened with Terra as that could definitely cause some problems with the main game. As long as they stick to keeping things cryptic or vague, there shouldn't be too many problems. It'll be nice to have some things set in stone, however, such as the deaths of characters or the current status of Rhodes Island, oripathy and whatnot.

The doctor lived in his magical box for uncertain amount of years. I wont be surprised for them to be in endfield for using it again.

I guess we all die out old age is a blessing. We don't have to bear the curse to see many, many of our friends pass away before us, one by one

Yes,it does make sense. As stated in Angelinas' own profile,she's more then just a clone,but the Heterocore system doesn't make them an extact duplicate,they are their own people. Angelina is basically no different to the original Doctor eating closet pervert then Quinyu is to the original fruit cake dragon lady,similaties for sure,but not the same. As for no FrostNova?...respecting the dead,her body long gone dead,the Heterocore system not being around before she was turned into ash,her dying in a place no where near any sort of facility that can replicate her mind,etc,etc.

Man it’s really saddening to see but makes sense, takes place in a very far future Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if they clone characters just to have them in endfield. I'm getting mixed opinions on how far into the future Endfield is, but I'm really hoping it's not 500 years. It would be absurdly unsatisfying if all the Operators we know and love who weren't explicitly stated to be immortal/long lived are just... dead. Even though it would be unrealistic to expect written conclusions to all of their stories, the whole concept just feels wrong.

But at the same time it gives more freedom to the writers compared to a direct sequel to avoid players getting mad about killing off fan-favorites and going "OMG they survived all these events in Arknights just to die to some punk, Endfield is noncanon trash!" Not to mention Arknights hasn't ended so there could be timeline hiccups if Endfield is set near present time.

@@PossessedbyPhoenix I can see where you're coming from, but if that's the case they ought to just make a new IP. Not that it would be an easy task, and it would certainly disappoint some fans thereby shafting their potential audience right out of the gate, but if they want a fresh start a 500 year timeskip in an already established franchise is not the way to do it. Or at least not in my eyes.

The release of Endfield wont be around until a few more years down the road. Likely at least when Act 3 of Arknights ends.

I won't be surprised we see the doc as a npc, or final boss

At least our sarkaz ops, kalt'tsit and perhaps one or two other long lived mfs like beast kings and various others are still alive, its sad but oh well

Someone get the Bagpipes... We need to pay our respects and I vote it be in an ODST way.

That does sound like I would have passed away in Endfield too, and probably if another me is in Endfield, he would be my great great great grand son.

We know Warfarin was mentioned, so hopeful that at least Warfarin and Closure are still around. I like to think the Muelsyse also kept trucking on, maybe leaving RI to continue her search.

Well depending on how long Endfield takes place from Arknights certain operators from certain species wouldn't be alive but those with longer life spans like Sarkaz and Sankta would.........possibly but Immortals are definitely alive and with the Abyssal Hunters having Seaborn DNA they are either Longer Life Span or Immortal but there are dead Operators........we know Emperor will be alive.

Now this is just straight up sad... just like what my assumption is on where Endfield happened I also learn something from Lone Trail, Nesti said something about moving City but in flying form, which made me believe this theory long ago before Endfield play test was released

Sadly, HG removed the concepts of 500 gaps. So.. it's looks like the devs either wants to create another timeline or to become a spinoff game.

So they make a game that takes place in the future and they refuse to tell us that all the operators are dead. Scummy.

The dragons in Arknights are old af so i wont be surprised to see Ch En be alive somewhere

The game 500years timeskip no? The only character I expect to lived is Kal'tsit😂 and for other maybe their descendant. Hope we could know more of our lovely character end tho, like.. are they getting the good end? Are they happy in the end?

as much as i keep reading that endfield is 500 years in the future of arknights, i hope its just an alternate universe, kind of would explain the cloning thing and then we would have 2 universes of arknights, not to mention it would be less depressing (as if arknights lore wasnt depressing enough ngl) edit: either that or i hope the characters from arknights are in some kind of afterlife heaven all together

Why in so denials of Ops dying? People die that normal things to expect. We have no need to spread lie that character we love will live forever i rather want to know when and how they end. Surely its be tales worthy of all.

I would rather hear that they fought bravely and got their deserved rest. Like oripathy is partly controlled in Endfield, so R.I did win. An alternative universe would just undo everything they did.

@@DantalianN Depends on their actions. But generally speaking yes. But it also locks arknights lore now. Having this time setting for Endfield was a massive mistake unless its an alternative timeline and non-canon for arknights.

I'm more amazed at the fact that our operators actually get a chance to be buried, as usually since most of them are infected, the best course of action would be to burn their bodies. It's why the ark has it's dedicated incinerator.

The gravestones don’t mean that the dead bodies of the operators are buried. They just record the names of those who’ve passed.

Graves don't necessarily have to contain bodies you know. Quite a few graves serve just as a memento.

Arknights hasn't even ended yet and now endfield is showing our operators grave? Ok cool. Wait does this mean exusiai is also gone... oh no.

I think talulah ,amiya ,and kal'stit maybe playable in endfield and they will tell you about conflicts that occurred in the past. and maybe if I can theorize the doctor will be a supporting npc or like a guide and help us until end of the story in endfield Maybe my theory is wrong but maybe it's also right, what do you think, let's discuss it together
