W is a unique case. If you got her from the gacha, she is techically on the R.I. But if you didn't get her (like me), the chapter 8 story only told us that W left with her Sarkaz comrades to continue her journey. Which I guess to kill her number one priority-to-kill (if I'm not wrong, we the dokutah is the number three on her list). By this, I think Lore-wise, she will end up join us again, but not now. Just like how we can recruit Chen even before the Chapter 8 out. But lore-wise, she only left LGD and on board to R.I after Tallulah down.

@MHA Hanzo well another reason i didn't take off my armor is because my lungs got damaged so much by oripathy that without my armor which has filter system to help breathe, i would probably die faster due to suffocation. as long as my filter system on my armor doesn't get damaged then there's no need to repair since my armor is pretty much in shape... Maybe.

@MHA Hanzo That's indeed correct my friend, oripathy had pretty much covered my upper body and head with crystals, but when i first had oripathy, it was on the inside of my body which it was one of my lungs then it to my throat, and it now started infecting outside of my body. It was a pretty painful experience to say at least.

Everyone has a sad backstory with either people trying to kill them, abusive family, separated or sth else Most of them dies

I wish I could have saved FrostNova and Patriot. They are really wholesome, Yes they mat had some issues but, they can be an wholesome family. Trusted is a strong word. Patriot more so wanted to prevent a "prophecy" and not allow amiya to take up the throne. He calls her the king of fiends and due to her arts capability she can essentially make alternative realities in ones mind. Like a day dream, she attempted to soothe the soldier by showing him his past and what could be if he simply passed on but patriot saw through the lies and deceit, Amiya having no I'll intentions essentially secured her fate with him. Patriot intended to kill her but oripathy and age was too much for the poor man and he died on the spot, a statue and a reminder of a legend to his men and a myth of ursus

I felt it was the opposite though, he saw what Amiya promised for the future, decided that leaving the future to her is a better idea then died standing. I mean he was 2 inches away from Amiya's head, if he wanted to he could pulverize Amiya's upper body as easily as he killed my whole team within 10 seconds.

Too be honest, except for Alex and Misha, as they are one-off characters, the rest of the Reunion leaders got the end that they deserve. For their actions and convictions reflected on how their fate was ended. Except for one... Crowslayer. Not until the ending that we finally see her once more. The way how she suddenly disappeared after her encounter with Kal'tsit and how she knows a lot about her relationship with her father lead me to believe that her motive to fight in Reunion may have been deeper than simply just that. Her ending was straightforward, like I said above, perhaps her just going home can be attributed that she was never important to begin with. And that makes me sad for a character who is still young and yet to encounter the complexity of reality.

Maybe I haven't played many games but I think Arknights is the first game where I really felt sorry for enemies and I really wanted to just refuse to fight them but sadly you can't really do that. Also it's nice to see this type of video, take care and bring us more content like that.

Patriot is literally white beard from one piece. I'm still extremely sad by frostnovas death, if she ever made it as RI operator I'd M9 lv90 her and have her as my secretary. She's the best girl in arknight and nothing can change my mind.

Happy to able see a Reunion Movement lore around yt, but what's makes it frustrating to watch is how low the whole content of it to get researched and applied to the vid. There's so many missing plot points or their characters that could ended up in mistook/OOCs overview, especially for the most *hated* characters in the AK fandom or the game itself generally view them as a villain. I'm pretty sad seeing how, how short Mephisto and Faust lore is as if doesn't deserve a justice because Mephisto's an asshole, he's gay to Faust and that's disgusting, he's that asshole who killed and dangaropa'ing style Peterheim School yadda yadda yadda. Despite they're always pinned with the fact, as the most trusted person of Talulah's and how three of them sharing a cycles of distrust each other but also in the past they're very close. The fact Talulah who's saving Mephisto and Faust from their death while small. And also really, really complex characters that you could researched for months. Even they're not lore important anymore, but there's more many deep inside this two boys, not just for content of thirsting like most of all AK characters.

@@scharlakenvogel9513 gosh, happy seeing someone who actually care to them or also rest of the Reunion as well, glad to see you mate. tbh all the Reunion really lacks of justice on how tiny their screentime or characters digging- I'm pretty sure if HG willing to give a really good ending even for the villains themself and finish the story arc completely in satisfaction to everyone who's following AK lore. Imo I had to admit, I indeed loves both Faust and Mephisto, beside they're having the greatest character building (imo but come on, can you tell me who's in AK who have stable character development and not have butchering and blatantly instable like goddamned miss officer Ch'en?) both of FauMe also the reflections on the nowadays crisis that happen- many childrens where become war victim but none of the adults cares the slightest about their futures, a victim to war egoism, but in this case they're also the actors behind chaos happening in RM-RI- a perfect gray-area character that would make your head spins and people fights each other just because your mind splits between "These *criminals* deserve punishment" and "They're just *childs* , they deserve a second chance" But aside from that, their relantionship, as ahem, *friends* is pretty niche and quite tragically ended,,,

I’m glad that I found this comment cuz I am not happy with how much we are lacking in Reunion contents. Mephisto and Faust are well-written characters, and they really make me feel extremely bad after reading their backstories, cuz they were just abused and manipulated as children into committing war crimes. I feel like Mephisto’s lore in particular isn’t given enough justice, or is paid attention to as much. All everyone talks about when mentioning him is he’s a lil shit, he made the Students of Ursus kill each other, he did this crime he commit that crime, but they never talk about how and why he becomes that way 😭

Faust and Mephisto have short stories on the surface but they are so complex. Their relationship with Talulah is tragically underexplored despite the nuances of the writing and the intensity of emotion involved. I agree with you, so much attention is given to what Mephisto did but not the characterization surrounding it, but I have to disagree where the others are concerned. Most AK characters are well deserving of appreciation for their story. Your beef is with fans who paint right over it, which goes for all characters even Meph and Faust. I can't stand those who whitewash and flatten these two because they're afraid of darkness and nuance in their faves.

Is Crownslayer going to the Barrenlands the reason we encounter her during CC#1 in Pyrite Gorge? I know very little about the lore, but from what I gathered all CC's happen after the Reunion arc, right?

Quite interesting lore for a gacha game. Still have yet to actually get this far in the story itself... but I'm sure it was a good run for the veterans here. Seems like the only road to salvation is through Rhodes Island... or through death.
