Really glad to see people reacting to my favorite Death song ever as I've been a fan since 1999. The bassist is Steve Digiorgio. He's playing a fretless bass so the bends you mention are actually slides. Not saying that to condescend to you; just letting you know. And I immediately subbed and liked while the video was still playing. I like your vibe and appreciate your humble disposition. Keep rockin, dude.
Old guy checking in. Bought this when it came out. Death was awesome and that's Gene Hoglan on drums, who was also in Dark Angel (check them out too) and Dethklok, and played for Anthrax and Forbidden on tour among others. He's a monster drummer.

the solo section is nuts, especially due to how Gene keeps evolving the drum part underneath, it's hard to pick a favorite Death album but this one ranks high as its the only one where Gene Hoglan & Steve Digiorgio overlap (my personal favorite Death drummer & Death bassist) then to boot you have Andy fucking Larocque from King Diamond who is not only an insane guitar player but is an awesome contrast to how Chuck plays...awesome album
