This is the only rendition that hits those "Alarm" notes perfectly. The Bo-WaWoooWaWooWaWooWaah. Everyone else forgets that the music was used to convey the internal alarms sounding off on Sonic's invasion of the Death Egg! All other iterations diffuse that noise. Here's hoping that Sonic 3 has the actual Death Egg. Although I did love Sonic 2's giant robot.

probably because its an alarm so it stops early to let you play, also because itd stop after its not needed. but fuck yeah i so wanna get to this boss

So damn hyped knowing the Death Egg Robot will be in Sonic 2. Here's hoping they bring you onboard to make a theme like this for it.

I aways think that, now that Robotinik has his theme, this should be the theme of his army of badniks

Love the Robotnik medley and the mini boss metal covers you did, Big Arms is probably my favourite but I have to say this one is awesome on so many levels for the way it starts like the original and then goes full metal with an epic solo!

Saw the Sonic 2 movie, exasperated that the Death Egg theme was not in it, immediately found this and replayed that scene with this as the World Domination Soundtrack. Made it ten times funnier.

Hoh-lee CRAP. This was always a high-stakes march of a track, but you managed to make it equal in intensity and desperation to Falling Down from Megaman Zero 4 and APPARENTLY THAT WAS POSSIBLE. Absolutely incredible.

As stated previously, I admittedly am not a big fan of this boss theme (it places in my 'bottom 5' Genesis-era Robotnik themes), but you know what? I actually really dig this, especially from 1:06 on, and most especially from 2:30 on. 😎 I mad appreciate this rendition and I def appreciate you, l.s.o! 🤟 _-edit-_ P.S. Expect a day-one purchase of BOSS FIGHT from me. 💸
