Here's 3 tips on how to beat the death egg robot quickly: 1. If the robot was processing on its launch, quickly spindash to the right and take one hit after you do it. 2. The jet don't hurt except from the fire. So make sure you have enough speed and space to hit the robot in the back. And lastly 3. You finished the game!!

Thank you but also in the remastered you can hit him at the start of the round and then when he lands you can actually do two hits which its a risk but not that high then jump when he's gonna fly do two hits. dodge the spikes then when he's gonna launch again Jump again.it makes the time to beat him reduced to 1:30 to 2:00

I know another way to beat him quickly, but it takes a lot of practice. Time your jump right when his foot touches the floor. It's not easy to do, but once you get the timing right he's easy to take down. I've been able to finish the whole Zone in under a minute.

sonic and eggman are actually running at the same speed because you don't see eggman accelerate away from sonic, he is always the same distance from him. Also he started running farther down the path and earlier than sonic did
