Suzie McDonald yeah he never tried to change the song like alot of musicians can't seem to keep from doing. If the song was already popular you changing it in my opinion seems to destroy the song alot of times. He was one hell of a musician that's for sure. Definitely in my opinion the best of the grunge Era and best of the 90's by far.

@@cornelloverfloater4231 i believe thats the truth artists suffer silently his inner pain is in many of the songs he wrote to most its music to the artist its there inner demons and deepist feelings then add the pressure of maintaining a rigerous tour schedule and fa s that are relentless and then balance you home life wife kids family and as you age its harder and harder to write the next hit as expected of you by your fans and demanded by your label just becomes overwhelming

One of the EHX pedals, probably the C9. But they have many similar pedals with synth modulation for each individual string. I used to own the Ravish Sitar pedal. Very cool. He probably should have used that instead for this particular song. Would have sounded more Indian.

He was asked which song he wished he had written and he saud "Dear Prudence" That surprised me because I don't find it to be that great of a song, especially the lyrics, and he was a great lyricist. Perhaps it has childhood significance. He said he used to listen to the Beatles a lot
