There’s a story somewhere on yt where a tiger alone in captivity was given a goat to eat and instead kept it alive and they now live together as two unlikely friends. The tiger was smart enough to know he’d still be fed and decided the company was worth more than the meal. Animals are so amazing and under appreciated.

Did he purchase the estate, gathered friends and employed staff to maintain the buildings and grounds and care for the animals for years before he went public? Because before he could show us cool videos of him being a member of a lion pack he needed to work with [young] lions for years and build up that relationship. These animals need feeding and vet care and it probably costs a fortune plus the staff you need to keep it all going.

Can I say something? Dean wakes up every morning, with a smile on his face. The amount of dedication and effort he puts into the animals, it’s just remarkable! And as you can see, all that hard work pays off. Some people wouldn’t even want to get near some of these animals because they fear for their life. Not dean. These animals aren’t pets to him, these are his family. His pride and joy. His everything. And the animals clearly feel the same way! Dean spends all his time, money and puts his heart and soul into these animals, he is doing absolutely everything to make sure that they are comfortable, welcomed, properly fed, protected, loved and happy. I respect this man so so so much! It just proves that you can make a difference in the world. That animals are somewhat misunderstood. When people think of a lion, they think aggressive, untameable, ferocious beasts that should be feared. But when you see dexters pride, the one that dean raised, you see a loving, careful, loyal, playful and happy lion, and you can see their true colours, not just what they show on the television. the cheetahs were probably not really hungry but just fooling around with a new toy they discovered in their enclosure. Cheetahs are not that scary anyway and most likely consider Dean their elder brother.
