@@mikelwrites I love to hear that younger generation like you and me still listen to this golden era. And it’s completely understandable that you have a crush on him, he was the best out of the best.

There have been many wonderful crooners but Deano's voice was always the smoothest, warmest, silkiest and charming. It was incredibly unique and we've never had the like since. It's the vocal equivalent of that nice phase after a couple of drinks, when you feel relaxed and mellow enough to wear a silly smile and love the whole world. Deano forever!

Dean has to be the best natural talent ever, his singing, acting came so natural. Anything he did was with perfection..I miss the old days. Watching the Dean Martin show on TV, his classic movies..we will never see anyone like him again.

Simply put you can't get better than Dean in this song. He was one in a million not just a brilliant singer but his showmanship was hard to match. Sadly not many of his caliber in todays music.

I had a mad crush on Dean Martin when I was in grade 8 (1966). I bought all his records that year, and watched his show. He was SO HOT!!!!!

His voice really does make me melt.

I wish Dean was still here and performing. I'm a 70 year old man and I still get romantic at these sounds.

THIS is what i would definitly call a love song.

A fantastic age of ultimate singers! I'm 49 and adore the crooners. Deano, Frank Sinatra et al are immortalized in the minds of music lovers!

I had the pleasure of singing this for my brother in law's wedding as the bride walked down the aisle. They had dated eachother cross continents for over 2 years so it was a very apt choice of song - I barely kept it together!! Such a beautiful and emotional song.

Tear to my eye. I used to sing this song to my baby son. Now he is taller than I am and I kinda miss that little scrap sometimes!

I love Dean's 50's voice He took his singing a little more serious back then. He could do no wrong. Crooner Johnny August.

@samislearning I will have to say the oldies were of ultimate. I was late in the game and my generation is that of the 90's since I was born in the early 80's. I've had the pleasure to hear so many great songs and listen to the evolution in the music industry and I have to say without a doubt, there are some very gorgeous songs nowadays but nothing can compare with the melody, harmony and chivalry of the golden oldies. Why else would so many great artist sing their own renditions of the oldies?

Its too bad that there is no one alive today that can do this song justice. No more vocalists.
