Many of them seem deliberately ridiculous to weed out any person savvy enough to see through it, leaving only the most gullible, ignorant, or downright stupid people for easy and reliable scamming. Making the scam too convincing would only increase their workload for no benefit to them. Either that, or the scammers are stupid, too, and chose that strategy by sheer luck and because they're too dumb to choose anything else.

I think it's real interesting that they not only demand that you not disclose that it's a sponsorship but press you to promote their app even when you yourself have no way of giving it a spin first. That's fully asking you to lie to your viewers, praising an app that you have never actually used and making it look like you have because it's *definitely not a sponsorship* so you must have learned how great it is on your own time. Skeevy.

I know what this actually means, but an alternative e interpretation involves a small camera inside a literal potato, this could be achieved by cutting the space needed to fit the camera, then putting the pieces and skin back in a way that just shows the lens and somehow making a potato door to the power button and/or battery holder depending on the type of camera

KZread took away Community Captions in September 2020, despite protest from Deaf KZreadrs and KZreadrs who need their videos translated into one or more language. Auto-generated captions are funny when they're wrong, but it also reminds me that us deaf/hard-of-hearing (D/HH) users don't have equal access to YT's content because they don't care about or listen to us.

@@janeeyre1990 Im honestly so sorry to hear that. Its a shame that on probably THE most used platform, minorities still get absolutely shut down. Ive been hoping for an easy-to-use system to warn watchers about flashing lights or potentially harmful/triggering content. You know, just a checkmark the KZreadr can check and it will automatically warn you in the tags or something. For such a high-grossing company, youd think they would have that kind of forward thinking... But seriously, I hope they bring something back to make watching YT for you better again. My heart goes out to you!

@@janeeyre1990 you’d think that a company as massive as KZread would be able to cater to the needs of people who are deaf/hard of hearing, but apparently not. We don’t know what KZread’s actual net worth is, but it’s estimated to be about 160 billion dollars to 190 billion dollars. They could easily pay people to write captions on videos. I choose to blame corporate greed for why they don’t, but idk. Could just be my hatred of capitalism. Still a shitty move, though.
