What's funny is I made the same strategy early after the new civs came out. I used that strategy for everything, fast rush, good defense. After getting cannoners, I make more of the Sudanese units to kill skirms the gascena can't get and gg every time.

I'm sure they'll balance it out sooner than later. We're still in a post-release expansion honeymoon. BTW I love that shade of green. Darken it a bit and you get that classic plain desktop background color for Win95/98.

feel frustrated to see the Hausa rush coming every time, i play Japan and I can not find way to deal with it :(

I was playing a 2v2 as Ottomans and Teamate was US and we handled the Hausa rush combined with a shit ton of Ashigaru Musketeers. It was rough for a couple minutes but if you can just mass produce your cheapest units and somehow kill enough of their units then you pretty much won the game since they exhaust all of their resources/useful shipments as seen in the video

I saw the incas stopping that rush aswell with the two cards that increase building hp from the first two ages and sending the 2 warhuts card from age 2

At 1200 ELO I found india to be quite good against hausa rush

India is great vs any rushers if you place your Agra accordingly. I typically play super fast age up with all vills on food after gathering crates and using crates to make vills only. Then age up at around less than 2:30 with 10/10 if you get a food treasure. This ensures that by 5 mins, I have around 6 to 8 sepots out into stable and eco upgrades plus otto vills. Works amazingly well. I barely ever lose except to opponents to turtle up and are good at defending raids(for them i just go 2 siege elephants in age 2 shipment and siege them quickly).

Nice one. I feel like at least Inca and Portuguese should be able to hold this as well. Perhaps some others too, like India or Haudenosaunee, perhaps even the French 12/10.

It's funny that we can stop hausa rush comparatively easily only by using same African civ. and again, It's [gasènya] with silence of 'c'.

Once the opponent knows the Native Embassy is just out front to buy time, why would they bother to siege it down vs. just bypassing it and going for your base?

Yea it feels so arcadey and like they just abandoned the spirit of the game. When I first bought warchiefs it felt like I was witnessing the Early colonization of the America’s and frontiers. Now when I play it I just see a weird rts arcade game with unbalanced and broken civs like this. I did like the USA tho but I feel like they should have made them more frontiery. Explorer who looks like Davey Crockett not some weird Washington general

Hausa rush is holdable for Germany.

I stopped playing this game as it feels unbalanced and broken to me, to a point that i get pretty frustrated. I do enjoy your video however! : )
