Dealers CAN'T Sell EVs Anymore So They're FORCED To Do This!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Dealers CAN'T Sell EVs Anymore So They're FORCED To Do This! It seems like every carmaker struggles to sell EVs and make a profit. One of the reason is that dealers are protesting and refuse to sell EVs! Electric vehicles (EVs) are still gaining a bit of traction, but dealers are facing an unexpected hurdle. They're being forced to adapt to EV cars in ways they never imagined, and it's changing the game. Dealers are there to take all the suffer, because they’ve stacked up their lots with electric cars they can’t sell because the market day supply is record high. Will legacy automakers find a way to mend fences with its dealers, or is the love affair with gas-powered cars far from over? Watch and see what's sparking outrage... and a potential slowdown in the EVs race!

😊 Hey guys! We created the Chase Car channel to give viewers a broad overview of the upcoming new cars from the top car manufacturers. We are huge fans of pickup trucks of all sizes: compact, mid-size and full-size trucks. So mostly, we will cover new upcoming trucks, but besides that, here you can find a lot of content about new sedans and SUVs too.
The Electric Vehicle wave sooner or later will become huge, so this type of content might appear on this channel from time to time. But as we are still on the way to becoming fully electrical, we mostly cover fossil cars from many amazing brands.

No one is going to pay $24K for a new battery, why not $23K or $25K?...You just made that number up. Most EV batteries will outlive the car, a typical EV with 200,000 miles on the clock has lost 10% of its range and the rate of loss stabilises and slows as the miles pile on. Most engines are shot by that mileage, check the data on that if you can be bothered to. Fact: In the UK used EV sales were 71% higher in Q1 2024 than in Q1 2023. Average stock turn time on an EV is 41 days, in an ICE car it's 51 days. Dealers report making 5% more profit on an EV than an ICE (Source: SMMT UK)

The guards are those that will or wont install infrastructure, or disable it at will. Freedom doesn't come free and quite often at additional costs. You're very foolish to believe electricity costs wont rise beyond the price of fuel in how far it can take you for cost. In some places they already have. They probably have all sorts of issues too expensive to fix, software, corrosion, electronics. Cheaper in China to buy a new car. Means those graveyards will keep growing as there must be a point where an EV is possibly fixable, so it’s not scrap, but then, lack of spares and software fixes might make that impossible. Electric Viking made out the graveyards were full of cars that were seized from bankrupt hire companies, ended lease agreements, basically all financial problems. The vehicles were just sitting awaiting the finances to be straightened out - whilst the batteries died of lack of maintenance charging.

The big problem is that cordless cars are just too heavy for the job, they are always hauling their enormous weight around, like driving a loaded truck; unpleasant, and range suffers, because batteries are still very imperfect, very heavy; the best lithium batteries today have only 300 Watt-hour per Kg, while gas or diesel have 10000 Watt-hour per Kg, 30 times more. Also, people start to realise that once their EV needs a new expensive battery, it's resale value will be near zero; The range anxiety, the innability of using the A/C or the Heater at will with its rapid battery drain, and the very expensive and lengthy repairs is sinking in too.

My EV only has 147 Wh/kG, about as much energy in it as two gallons of petrol...BUT, you can only burn petrol in an engine at best 30% efficiency...,so you may get 100 miles out of your two gallons. The electric motor in my car is 95% efficient at turning electrical energy into miles driven, so I can comfortably get 250 miles out of it...300 miles in the summer local driving. EVs are typically 15% heavier than ICE cars, not double as some EV haters seem to think. Don't forget that an EV sheds that heavy lump of engine and gearbox, the fuel tank, exhaust, radiator, starter motor, pumps belts, pulleys and all that other crap...An EV motor is light and small and the battery sits low down in the car giving it perfect weight distribution. The ICE is a dead man walking, sales peaked in 2018 and have been declining ever since. The industry is only going one way, just follow the money.

I used to work with an EV 12 hours a day,and when i started it was Awesome to be honest, but after only 6 months,6 months it was enough to turn the Awesome part of it,into a real Hell. Iam no joking, unfortunably is very true and the situation is getting worse and worse by the day. Is simple as this, the Idea behind the EV is very "noble" and Smart, but the Reality is this, my Country ( or any other Country) Don't Have the Infrastructure to Support the ammount of EV's that are in use today. And not even in 50 years is possible to create that Massive and Super Expensive Infrastructure. By 2030 they say...What a bunch of Greedy Lunatics they are. Nowadays in my country is an Overwhelming experience working full time with a EV. Every single day are fistfights on the Charging Stations, with some of them ending in Tragedy. Last January one Man was killed on a EV Charging Station because a dispute abaut a place in the waiting area. PS: moral of the story,i did give up on EV for good, and dont regret that for a single second. Like someone said " Its a jungle out there". Very True, unfortunably.

Its simple, the E.V. problem all boils down to the point they never built charging stations. If you want to do anything you have to have the infrastructure in pace before you can have everyone using it. The government should have offered a budget for gas stations to expand and add charging stations. Also the car company should have offered a home charging station included in the purchase price of the vehicles. Also they are not as real as a gas vehicle so because of this they should be built cheaper smaller and less expensive. You can not expect an average American one car owners to buy a lesser vehicle for more money. The math is not there, it will not add up no matter how much you try to adjust the math.

Batteries prices drop 50% till the end of 2024 and it is 35-40% of cost to produce a EV. 15-20% drop of EV prices is just behind the corner. Solars would be cheaper in a few years time.

The biggest lesson about EV vehicle rejection is sitting in plain sight inside the garage of Henry Ford's home in Dearborn Michigan. There you will find the electric vehicle that Thomas Edison made for Henry's wife Clara. There are no known photos of Clara Ford driving or just sitting in her electric car built by Mr. Electric himself. Can you imagine how impossible it was to have EV charging stations throughout Dearborn and the Detroit area back 8n those days? No different than trying to find a decent charging station today. Henry Ford's wife owned and drove a more dependable car that her husband produced. EV vehicles are a dream that won't come true. This proves that the executives at Ford, GM, and Stalantis are starving for air sitting in their top floor penthouse executive offices. The air way up there is very thin. Their brains are constantly short circuiting. 😂
