Local dealer had $10k markups on their broncos and now they have them for MSRP and pissed off all the local bronco buyers, so now they are sitting on them. Karma

Well they paid the 10k because they got it when it was fresh and new.
yup, all the dealer overflow lots that were full here in tampa during the "chip shortage" are filling up again from the "money shortage"
how many FORD dealers played the "Market Adjustment" game? Maybe its time to reap those rewards.

Adjust those dealers out of the market
Dealers got greedy. I don’t feel sorry for them.
Karma, you dealers gouged customers with market adjustments for three years, then why would Ford help you? Take the loss - you created the problem. Customers have lost what little trust they had in dealers. Your view of reality is comical.

100% agree and truth! Also building junk does not help!
I wanted to get a Bronco but Ford was unwilling to deal, could not order what I wanted, plus massive long wait times, so I went with a Wrangler, factory ordered on 11/3/23, in my garage on 1/18/24, with almost 14% off MSRP- this coming from a guy that has been driving F150s since the 90s and getting a new one this year. for me- Ford blew it on the Broncos

Thank you for your response, and understand where you're coming from. Wait times on the Bronco are pretty short now. Dangle had an advantage because they weren't launching a new model.
They should sell them for $15,000 off, "Market Adjustment" My dealerships have a good amount of New and a bunch amount of Used, which doesn't look good from a buyers perspective.
Since August 2023, everyday about 15 semis full of bronco sports are transported from Mexico north. I’m in southern Arizona. Quality is ok but price is still insane.
Broncos were over hyped and faced a lot of quality issues. Then you had the buy and flip market created by the over hype driving up prices even higher. Now add in higher interest rates. Who in their right mind wants a soon to be repo'd lawn ornament or someone else's former repo'd lawn ornament at a mark up. The same exact thing with the F150 Lightening.
I bought my Honda Fit new in 2020 just before the pandemic. $16k out the door for a base LX manual and at the height of the car shortage in summer/fall 2022 the Carmax offer was $22k. Things seem to be getting back to normal now.
In southern Wisconsin, most people who wanted one of these primarily as status symbols likely got theirs already. I also notice there's lots of used ones for sale around here.
I firmly believe that the car market looked out over the horizon and looked at the desolation that they caused and said how are we going to profit from this, they then took the biggest joint and let it, took the best drag ever and just when they could not take anymore they sucked down some more, then they blurted out the new MSRP price. Case in point I was looking at some Honda Civic's they had 6 to 10K markup, 599 dollars for a nitrogen fill for the tires, 2K for 5 year replacement for windshields. etc etc. Maybe they are realizing that we are not as high as they are.
My local dealership is packed with them too. And people buy tons of trucks in my area.
All new cars are overpriced.
Sell wholesale to the local junk yards.
If Ford would sell them for the price they advertised and not let the dealers add 25% of lying bogus fees, the Bronco would sell a lot better. The customers are done with being abused.
There seem to be lots of engine choices, which engine is best and why?
YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT, I LIVE HERE IN SO CA, I see very few Broncos on the streets and the hwys, I should be seeing hundreds, BUT I HAVE SEEN MAYBE 20, MAYBE? SINCE THEY CAME OUT, They are just overpriced and not very popular it seems. It doesn't help that the eco boost engine is not very good either.
Dealerships sure weren’t helping Ford by price gouging when they first came out. 10k markups were common at the bottom feeder non-sticky customer dealers.

We agree. My dealership never marked up ordered Broncos even the first 2021 and 2022s.
Maybe don't gauge. And price appropriately

We did. We didn't have ours over MSRP. Some dealers are, which I reference in the video.
I was in the market for one I refused to pay over msrp which no one would sale at this price I needed a car really bad and I purchased a Honda civic now the Land Cruiser is back I will get one in a year or two once my car is paid off and the interest rates go down
My dealer has a lot full of Lightning pickups......I will wait till the prices drop and get my red one.
Prices are just to high for the working class. The packages are just to contained. You can not just purchaze individual items with out buying items you do not want! Also interest rates must recede or Ford will end with negative cash flow! N
I regret not buying my LIghtning from you guys, I think I was a little intimidated by the shipping process having never shipped a car to California. A brief video on how shipping works, some examples of current shipping costs across the US (from Kansas) would be interesting and helpful for those of use that have never done it. I imagined myself needing to find a shipping company, having to coordinate with them and you guys, etc... I imagine the vehicle is covered by the buyers insurance or the shippers insurance.

Bought mine in Kansas City and the dealership flew me from Texas to KC and picked me up at the airport.......and still had the best price I could find even beating a local dealer

There is a dude doing a YT video on shipping and brokers, if I can find it and I will let you know which channel it is.
Maybe consumers shouldn't fall for price gouging??? Maybe buy appropriately?? Just saying
What @redrubi said in the comment above.
No Ford don't help these dealerships especially Town and County because I went to that particular dealership several times was a markups so let them sit on the lot f... TC Ford not a good dealership
SELLING @ OR BELOW VEHICLE INVOICE >> JUST ANOTHER B.S. SALES GIMMIC !! MANUFACTURERS INVOICE IS NOT SAME PRICE WHAT ACTUAL COST TO DEALER'S..
@FordVideoGuy

There is hold back, that money is used to cover interest cost incurred. If a vehicle is there for 3 months, that money is gone.
Insurance fire next month
Ya lower the price lol. What a joke!

Ford needs to lower the price or give rebates. We are below invoice and aren't selling them.
Are you guys making something out of nothing?
Well get over it the junk yard needs help 😂

@@johnsteffen9438 if I’m unwilling to take one for free you honestly think I’d pay for one of those shitboxes? Really?
Good, I hope they have to slash prices to sell them. Lots of dealers still have a bunch of 2023 models on their lots. Seeing some $10000 off, I might buy when they get to $15000 off.
