The irony of Ryan's dialog and his real life battles with Iger and Fiege is just off the charts.

No, Loki Season 1 came earlier that year in air date, and an indeterminate time in the MCU, as the TVA existed outside time. They pruned "variants", where people made different choices, or events happened differently. Those resulted in branched timelines with multiple universes. A multiverse is bad because they could physically collide, or fights happen between them. Even earlier, the first Doctor Strange introduced different "dimensions". A multiverse has the same laws of nature, but different histories. Dimensions have different laws of nature. The MCU is a different dimension than ours despite looking similar. It has different elements on the periodic table, and breaks fundamental physical laws of ours, like Hulk getting heavier when he transforms.

This movie had to have cost at least $150 million if not more. First one was made on $58 million and it made money. It was a good simple story too. The amount of desperation Marvel must currently have when they haven't made a good movie in well over five years.
