I've been a deadmau5 fan for at least a decade, and his disciple Rezz is my new favorite. She's different, but you can tell she LEARNED from deadmau5 not just MIMICKED him. Her style is a lot closer to psytrance and downtempo, but with many of those crucial elements in composition that make deadmau5 so unique (and definitely his influence of 90s trance and acid house carried on to Rezz). Check her out, she may be a bit too hypno downtempo for you but I think it's at least worth appreciation.

@@sarahsays4917 he used to have his show called coffee run on KZread, but I usually look up the names of the artists that I like. Especially to avoid the confusions with music groups. For example: Michael Cassette is a group, Cahill is a group, Camelphat is. Joel is very notable artist because he brought progressive house into the mainstream music. I say mainstream, because there where other artists long before him producing progressive music, but more for the underground audience. His famous deadmau5 head is probably what made him even more popular. Artists like Avicii followed soon, that used the same style. Mind you, progressive keeps returning to mainstream every now and then, but it seems to be sticking now, longer than ever. As opposed to how we lost Andre Tanneberger (ATB) from the picture in the early 2000s. I know Joel doesn't like to label his early songs as any genre, but, it is truly, at it's core, progressive house. Well, this song is the best example why it is and at the same time, isn't. :D

I remember being 11 listening to deadmau5. I never would have thought to love electronic music so much. I just love synths, rhythm, beats, my god I just love everything about it. how weird it was for the first time and these sounds the producers make will always catch my attention. the way it can sound beautiful, hard, soft, melodic, sad, funky. you feel it when you hear it and I love it. deadmau5 was one of the first artist who I listened to, along with knife party, au5, and nero. I love listening to other genres too but I always end up listening to music with heavy edm or electronic influence. It's in my heart and I won't ever get rid of it. proud to be a listener.

you should check out his older stuff if you haven't already..At Play Vol 1 and At Play Vol 2 are dope, i love all of Joel's music but i really like his older deep house style tracks

His old stuff like At Play vol 1 and 2 is too much repetitive n also it is very boring especially songs like 1981 as well as faxing berlin

I love this song still slapping in 2020
