Enjoying international chart success with his 2x platinum-certified single "Ghosts 'n' Stuff," as well as "Professional Griefers," "Sofi Needs A Ladder" and "I Remember," he has also released seven critically acclaimed albums. The multiple JUNO Award-winning and GRAMMY®-nominated artist's ability to push the boundaries of his talent grows at an equal rate to his fan base, which counts 15 million and more over his combined social media channels. His latest music offerings include “Pomegranate” with The Neptunes, “Bridged By A Lightwave” with Kiesza, “Channel 43” with Wolfgang Gartner, “Hypnocurrency” with REZZ, “When The Summer Dies” with Lights, “Hyperlandia” featuring Foster The People, “this is fine.” with Portugal. The Man, “XYZ” and “My Heart Has Teeth” featuring Skylar Grey.
In 2022 deadmau5 teamed with longtime friend and collaborator Kaskade on new music project Kx5 releasing Top 40 smash and #1 dance music radio single “Escape” featuring Hayla leading into the release of their 2023 debut self-titled album Kx5. In the live realm, his 2019/20 U.S. cubev3 tour featuring production of his own design and implementation ranked in the Top 10 of Pollstar’s top tours globally. In 2022 he completed the ‘We Are Friends’ North American tour and as Kx5 headlined the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in December, breaking records as the largest single-day concert event headlined by an electronic music artist ever in North America with Billboard confirming Kx5 at the Coliseum as the biggest ticketed global headliner dance event of 2022. Beyond his music career, he is also a co-founder of gaming venture PIXELYNX and is an executive of HD streaming platform StreamVoodoo.
about #mau5trap:
Over a decade since its formation, mau5trap -- the independent record label founded by groundbreaking electronic music producer deadmau5 -- has become a bastion for trailblazing and genre-defying artists. Casting a palpable influence over the genre, Mixmag readers voted mau5trap among the “Top 50 Labels of the Decade”, placing it in the Top 10; since then, the imprint has been supported by dance music magnates Billboard, DJ Mag, Forbes, Insomniac, & The EDM Network.
The multi-genre platform has served as an authoritative platform for dance music heavyweights such as Skrillex, REZZ, Feed Me, Zedd, Noisia, i_o, Dillon Francis, Chris Lake, & Madeon; a combination of dark, forceful techno & complex, electro sounds, the label acts as a hotbed for rising talent like Lamorn, Polar Youth, 1788-L, Volaris, DI SUN, & others alike. Welcome to the horde.

I don’t understand people that say they miss these days. The music is still here and there are thousands of records you’ve never heard from this period! Play as much of it as you want! 😎

I worked at Hollister when I was about 19yrs old. This song was on the track list at first I did not think much of it. This was the first song I heard by him. But this is when I realized the genius of Deadmau5. He songs are insidious, it won't catch you at first, but after time you become hooked. I just remember one day I heard the part at 3:54 and I thought to myself "What just happened" I became in trance. The customer had to ask me if I was ok, I spaced out for a good 20 seconds lol. Every since then I loved Deadmau5 and see him every chance I get.

@@justalpha9138 For his more recent songs, I think part of it is just that he's extremely familiar with serum. Alexander the fuck? He's not dead
Am I the only one with a love and hate feel for the 2010's?? This masterpiece is 1 of few things from that time that I enjoy with lots of nostalgia
Beat dropped harder than the moon in legend of zelda majoras mask
tbh this song is how i got introduced to deadmau5's other songs (which are amazing)
One of the best songs from deadmau5, love it
This song brings back memories... I'm a mother now... But still I'll listen to this song

Crazyyyyyy
man is been 8 years when this came out and still sound like it just came out damn.
Lets set things straight: deadmau5 is a producer not a dj this song is electro house(not even close to Dubstep), most of his songs are electro/progressive house, he has made 2 songs with dubstep because of its popularity at the time skrillex and deadmau5 are friends

Sean dude, he's a producer. yeah if he performs concerts then he's gonna be DJing his tracks, but calling him a DJ is a total b*tch-slap considering DJs play other people's tracks and don't produce tracks. and DJing is easy as hell as opposed to producing (and im talking producing good music). deadmau5 even hates being called a DJ. look it up.

Daniel K Some DJ's do also produce and DJ their own stuff. Many people are misinformed about this and Djing compared to Producing ins't as easy as you think lol. If you want to call mixing some songs on a laptop; anybody can do that, but get on a mixing board and controllers and try to jump into it without knowing what you are doing. It's not going to sound so good. Anybody though can Lay down some Tracks though with different beat change-ups, Fades, percussions ect. I actually DJ and am currently taking classes to produce. :D
*frequency wobbling **0:30** in love with it*
Thanks for all these wonderful years now I am 29..I grew up with your love..thanks #deadmau5

I like a lot of deadmau5's songs... but this one truly made me dance. And I'm sitting down.
This is THE best opening to any album, ever.
Am I the only one who grew up as a little kid Watching deadmau5’s music and just came back for nostalgia?
