We never did after Hurricane Gilbert, which was more dangerous. We are resilient people… we’ve got this, so don’t worry about us showing up on your doorsteps. We look out for each other during these times. While in Jamaica during Hurricane Gilbert, my house was full with the next door neighbors… we bundled up together in the few rooms that still had roofing. This time will be no different… It’s who we are as a people. We are Jamaicans… God bless my country and my people.
