Deadly Charlotte ambush | What's next for the house at the center of it?
New photos released Tuesday show the aftermath of the deadly shootout at a home in east Charlotte that killed four law enforcement officials and hurt five others.
The front of the house was destroyed during the encounter, with the front entrance and multiple windows blown out and covered with debris. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings said the suspect, 39-year-old Terry Clark Hughes Jr., opened fire on a group of officers who were there to serve warrants for his arrest.

Always been the case! Cops can bust down a door at the wrong address and they don't have to pay a dime.

I'm sure we know what color the homeowner is. Who else receives notices from the code enforcement division to clean up debris in such a short length of time?
Great reporting Charlotte, Chicago Illinois loves your content 😎
Diversity is our strength.
I bet the owner's homeowners insurance will have a thing or two to say about who is responsible for paying for the house.
This is crazy.... really tore that house up and damaged other properties/cars. And the city doesn't pay for it. Quite messed up.
What happened. This is a one sided weird story. How did this happen?! What happened to the two other people that were in the house? The news half asz.
All of the surrounding homes and yards destroyed in this action will also fall to the owners of those properties. The city and police will not pay a dime.
My condolences Officers 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Well the church have step up. We are praying for the police officers. And for Chicago to
Wow amazing insights here only on WCNC! Power team right here! Had no idea the destroyed house would now have to be repaired after being destroyed in a botched raid. Something for all of us to be thinking about during this tragic time of grieving the loss of four Marshalls gunned down in cold blood serving a warrant for "possession of firearm" without the states permission.
Who wrecked the place¿¿
End the cover up. Tell us who the two females in the house were and what they were doing there.
How many casualties were the result of ‘friendly fire’?
Bullshit . They so wrong smh
The owner responsible for the destruction?

harboring a criminal
WHAT???😈😈
непонятка.
I was wondering what happens in this situation and who pays for all the damages and stuff since I saw on Polaris that the owners are actually Thomas and Cheryl Looney. Its messed up they have to become a victim in all this themselves. Now if they rented it directly to the convicted felon then they probably should assume some risk and do their homework but something tells me they more likely rented it out the woman living there and she let that guy stay with her. Our justice system is messed up.

Oh here goes again with BLM🤦🏻♀️ he was a criminal. What do you expect. And if the owner has to pay for this; then maybe they should know not to rent to criminals.
