Dead Boy Detectives stars Jayden Revri (Charles Rowland) and George Rexstrew (Edwin Payne) interview each other in a setting perfect for The Sandman universe: a cat cafe. About Dead Boy Detectives: Meet Edwin Payne (George Rexstrew) and Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri), “the brains” and “the brawn” behind the Dead Boy Detectives agency. Teenagers born decades apart who find each other only in death, Edwin and Charles are best friends and ghosts… who solve mysteries. They will do anything to stick together - including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself. With the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal (Kassius Nelson) and her friend Niko (Yuyu Kitamura), they are able to crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases.

I’m not British but can I say that their chemistry just str8 up gob smacks me mind every time? Like I love when actors Embody their roles and then the interaction and chemistry is such so next level…they deserve a season 2 and so many more!!! Aww they have such cute chemistry and it totally shows both on and off screen! Also Jayden, whaddya mean you can’t say your favourite memory of George on camera? 👀 On another note, I binged their show just the other day after going on for so long not having anything good to watch and can I just say how much I ADORED the show?! Like, I’m so impressed from the story to the acting and I enjoyed all the characters so much! Its been way too long since I was this invested in a show and that’s a feeling I absolutely LOVE! So I beg you Netflix to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RENEW THE SHOW FOR ANOTHER SEASON!!! I’m more than curious to find out what happens next and I know many many others are too! Kudos to the entire cast and crew of The Dead Boy Detectives!!! Thank you for bringing in such a great show!!! ❤

I am so scared that Netflix will give us twenty different terrible reality shows over another season of this fantastic show. I can't remember the last time I liked a show this much. If you were a fan of The Magicians, or RTD's run on Doctor Who, or even just Heartstopper, there will be things about this show that you will just love. The cast is phenomenal, the writing is clever and cheeky but feels effortless. And there are so many just fun playful moments. It's a show with hilarious moments as well as deep emotional beats that straight up made me cry. If you're one of those people who just needs crap to explode all the time, the show probably isn't for you. But damned it is so good! Also they managed to do a diverse cast without feeling like it was all just because a network exec wanted to have input. (Unless you're the sort of person who is currently complaining about X-men 97, if you hate X-men 97, you'll hate this show too, and you're dumb.)
This show is really amazing. Everyone should watch it and we need season 2 plss

@nagitokomaeda2174 they aren't in a relationship. they have feelings for each other, but nothing official. plus, they deliberately left it open-ended between Edwin & Charles. I doubt they'll get together next season, but I definitely think it's heading in that direction - probably a slow burn.

NETFLIX, a new season is NON-NEGOTIABLE
GOOD casting can carry any kind of show. The two of them and their dynamic has me eager for season 2.
This show is my umbrella academy replacement. Also, I can’t explain it but them dropping the series in the spring time made me more interested in watching it…it’s fulfilling my desires for spooky content super early. The show’s plot is spectacular and masterfully creative. The characters are all have strong personalities and are incorporated intricately to the point where even though they didn’t use a lot of characters I still felt greatly satisfied. No filler characters in sight, EVERYONE had a purpose to the storyline. I loved the realism in the relationship between Edwin and Charles…they didn’t force anything and it all feels so reasonable to why they rely on each other so much. I will say that niko is my favorite on the team and I absolutely hate that she will be away from the others for even a second next season. If I absolutely HAD to complain about anything it’s simply that they “killed off” my favorite character. Can’t wait for next seasons stories!!!!
