Dead 24v DC Motor to 12v Motor for High Current, Speed & Torque - Project !

Ғылым және технология

In this video, i will be modifying the armature winding of a 24V Dead DC Motor ( 660 RPM ) to 12v motor with ( 6000 RPM ) by armature winding modification. Old winding was 0.3 mm and new winding is 1 mm .
The dc motor modification project improves the speed of the motor by 10 times although the current drawn is also proportionally high i.e 8 Amps .

Why did you choose to tie the wire from copper hook 1 with space 3 (odd number)? So how is the end of the coils back to the copper hook 1?

I don't think we can make e bike using it. It can hardly provide 72 watts of power and if we reduce the RPM using gear box to create more torque then the bike may not run at high speed. But it's worth a try if you can achieve 25 kmph speed for visiting local areas. You can attach two motors in parallel to achieve good results.

@@johnvanlandingham8832 high RPM machines have this kind of disadvantages. The bearings break or cease. To overcome this problem use lower RPM as much possible. I think my air cooler motor will last longer if I wind it for 1000 RPM rather than 1400 RPM original. Recently I had to change both bearings due to increasing noise levels. The shaft was also affected and had to punch it along the bearing line to tightly mount the bearings.
