If the USD looses it's dominance as reserve currency , it will totally destroy the American industry, because of their high costs in manufacturing. As you said the USD will be there as the reserve currency, at least for the African, Asian and Latin American countries, but the world's big oil purchasers and manufacturers might try to establish a new world currency for their own existence.

Not at all. It will either increase the cost of goods or it will lead to salary cuts of American labourers. Bcoz chinese manufacturing is the cheapest.

@@unicorn7403 when the cost of goods increase it will promote manufacturing locally and reduce outsourcing. A strong dollar makes anything manufactured in the US expensive outside US so they can't sell outside the US. China knows this so they artificially keep the yuan/dollar conversation ratio fixed. A weak dollar will help US manufacturers have a level playing field with manufacturers in other countries. Cheap Chinese labor costs can be compensated with automation and robots in manufacturing.

Yes i think optimisation is the way forward for all governance in all nations. However China's problem is not governance, it is lack of transparency and openness in their dealings which effects world trust towards them. Making deal with China == to making deal with Devil. 😈 Chinese are also very shady when it comes to business dealings all the benifits and profits are one sided to China's benifit and exploitation of the other nations resources. Srilanka, Pakistan, some central African countries are recent and good examples of how China exploited these poor nations and left them heavily indebted to China. Also as per news media sources China is secretly expanding their military in these nations.
