This is the first video I have seen of Tinyhouse Prepper, and I must say, you are the sweetest couple! And dear Lady, you have a most sincere and lovely smile. I will enjoy exploring your other videos. Blessings!!!
SUGGESTION ! I noticed you have a lot of wasted space in those cupboards. What we did in our rv is stand those books upright n then made a shelf above it. You double your space. Loved your video !
Looks great!! I have found the older I get the less *stuff* I want....I want things neat, clean and where I can find them, without looking for a week....I am decluttering too, but very slowly due to severe back pain....One day soon it will be finished and look like little doll house!! :-) My house is small, not tiny but its paid for and I have lived here since March 1977 so I guess I will stay....many memories here and no payment!! God Bless You all!!
Since you enjoy your iPad, one thing I like to do for written recipes or even cookbooks is to take pictures of each recipe I want to keep, then save it in a folder. I was able to get rid of a ton of cookbooks and I can also access the recipes from my phone as well when I'm shopping. Good job, thanks for sharing!

Exactly! In fact, I barely even use cookbooks anymore, as I can find almost any recipe online. I especially appreciate the "3 ingredient" recipes. :)

That is a terriffic idea. I'm gonna do that cause I have so many cookbooks and not enough space to keep them. Blessings!

I also scanned my favorite recipes written by family members, that way I’ve captured their writing and notes. Also I’m in the process of scanning all my photo albums. Once they are all scanned I’ll add them to my digital photo frame I can have a slide show going either on my iPad or on my digital photo frame and see the photos more often.
I've been living in my 29 foot fifth wheel for over 6 years and just love living tiny. There are many challenges but what a great feeling to overcome them. I make a point of purging every 6 months and my motto is "If I haven't used it in the past 6 months then it goes to the thrift store." I am almost 67 years old and can see living this way for many years to come. Thanks for your tips! Mary
We live in a tiny house & I'm constantly organizing & donating as the seasons change or something new or repurposed comes in the house. Doesn't it feel good to have your space organized? Looks great! Love Leo...he's so cute.
Bill, you are so awesome! Leo, you are so handsome! But, Elizabeth, you are a bright and shining jewel's light that reaches through this screen and scatters a Heavenly love all around! I so adore all three of you! You have in your hearts what this world needs more of. Thank you so very much for sharing! May you both continue to be blessed! Now I am going to go do some declutterifization!
I live in a small home compared to a lot of people. I think no matter what size home we live in, clutter can become a problem...the bigger the home, the more room for clutter. I also understand, for you, how this is even more of a challenge. I have an idea for your throw blankets: lay them over the back of your chairs when not in use, and when you need one, they're close by!!! Great video...love you two!!! 💕
Elizabeth's hair looks so pretty in the video! Good job reorganizing! Leo is such a cuddly looking soul.
You two are the cutest couple! I love watching y’all interact.
I am a 200 square footer so I know first hand the challenges . I would keep the jackets and blanket in the dryer, and give them a warm tumble before use. I think someone else mentioned making a curtain to hide the food - that would make the room much easier on the eye. Anything that I don't use often, that can tolerate the cold and heat I would keep in the screened room. I would also utilize the new RV ! You are so correct about having a place for everything! Have a sweet day and stay warm!
Not sure if you got rid of the backpack yet, but you could use it to build an emergency B.O.B. for your truck. We have one for each car filled with five days worth of food, water, first aid, fire-making kit, mylar blankets, water purifying tablets and filters, etc. Living in a cold climate (Alaska here) you never know what could happen. Of course the water we remove each night or it freezes solid. Although I admit I usually leave a bottle or two so I can carry it around and drink it as it melts. Yummy.
This is very encouraging. Love seeing Leo assisting! He is wonderful.
Everything looks so neat and pretty. I live in a small space also. And love it!
Could you use the dryer when not in use for your coats and blankets? You could also turn on the dryer in really cold days to warm up your coats!!

Good job, and I'm sure Leo will take all the credit. I see he is doing a good job overseeing the project. Blessings and happy week!
I have been watching for quite a while now and I love how realistic your tiny living is. People have Stuff. Even though I love to see tiny house or rv remodeling, I know that would not be what my everyday living would look like. You have to be inventive with all your stuff, using every nook and cranny, bag, box and hidden corner to hide all that stuff from view. So I thought to suggest a tip I have learned. Declutter your sight line. If you cover your shelves with curtains that complement your window curtains it gives your eye a smoother transition. I know you have probably thought of this, but it would also give you something to sew. I know for myself I enjoy sewing, but don't have a lot of room so when I have an actual reason to sew something, I love it. My last project was pot holders and I chose a more complicated pattern, just to make it last longer. You have so many good tips in your comments, I appreciate all the hard work it is for you to give us all these videos and I am grateful you do. Keep up the good work and God Bless.
I've been "declutterfying" for a long time now, I'm finding the biggest strides occur when I let go of things I dust. I used to hoard books...but have given away or now sold about 95% of them and only kept ones I know I will reread. Downsizing is hard work...it's emotional. Also, I scanned old photos and now store them digitally. BTW I like the red dress on you Elizabeth. You two are so sweet.

I have an unhealthy acquisition need myself, lol, and the dust accumulators were the best thing to leave my life, now, if I get one, one has to go! Its inspiring and freeing to loose the stuff.
Love your videos. You folks are neat and I enjoy watching you guys in your daily life. Love your home and I really appericiated the love and respect you two have for eachother. Very refreshing thank you for sharing
You guys are just too cute and getting to be better actors, lol. We have almost the same problem, 1 bedroom apartment, the kitchen is in the living room and the living room and dinning room are in the kitchen, or part of the kitchen I should say and then for added entertainment, you get to look at the back side of the front door. I'll be watching for tips, thanks. Elizabeth seems nice and perky, hopefully she is feeling really good.
That’s what I’m working on little by little. With my chronic pain, it’s not easy but I know it’ll be so worth it in the end. Thank you for sharing🌸
You are right about clutter in a small home. In The Nest I got 8 square meter of living space. And yes it just takes one pair of shoes to make it cluttered. It's so important to keep it neat and tidy. Thank you for the nice video my friends. Stay safe and warm.
I am not sure why but tonight I am trying to get some sleep but can't. You folks keep coming to mind. I feel the Lord asking me to tell you He loves you both and is pleased with your lives and choices. He loves the humility you display and your willingness to be vulnerable on this forum and in your day to day lives. Hope He will let me get some sleep now that I let you know. Blessings Rob

You guys are awesome and Leo, I love that sweet little man! Great job decluttering, I need to do the same in my 400 plus sq ft home. I made room for my thrive and am just loving it, so perfect for someone who is alone. Thank you again, dear friends!
Really good thing even in larger homes! I have OCD, which started occurring in my childhood. OCD is a by-product of anxiety. Putting things in order and keeping things in order, keeping clutter down and not accumulating too many things help me keep my anxiety levels down. Everything has a place and everything in it's place! If anxiety starts, the first thing I do is start cleaning and getting rid of clutter. My problem is, I live in a 2400 square foot, 4 bedroom house. My 30 yr. old daughter lives here also and uses 2 of the rooms for 2 of her part time jobs (sewing/alterations and jewelry making and sales.) She is also and artist and does commission work and works a full time job at one of the hospitals here. She moved in after I had a couple of bad falls. I would have just sold the house and down sized after my husband passed, but this is working out good for both of us. And she pays more than her share of taxes and home repairs. I have no mortgage. I have lived dept free since I was 32 yrs. old and we bought this home with cash. I don't like buying things if I can't pay the full cost up front. Numerous monthly payments will eat you up. Never owed a "new" car. Always buy at least 5 yr. old cars. Great video! Love you guys. Sorry for the long post.
The cans actually look good there, they almost look like decorations, I started commenting at the beginning of the video, I should finish and then comment, I'll be quiet now, lol.
I feel for u on the space. My ex-husband and I lived in a 19' travel trailer for 6 or 7 years as we traveled for his work. I even had a stackable washer/dryer in the 2nd one, which took up room. I am now in the process of sorting my Christmas decorations and labeling the boxes so I can just grab what I need and leave the rest in the storage barn. Some I don't want to get rid of because they are antique but don't have the energy to put up every year. Ditto on antique dishes. Re-boxing and labeling for easy access. Also I am separating some to use for grand-daughter's wedding in October. Putting them in the cabinets in barn for easy access later. Got out of hand during 6 years of dialysis and then kidney transplant process. But God is wonderful and now I can get it done!
It seems like I'm constantly "editing" what I have. But you're right, you have to be diligent. 10 new things in=10 old things out....
One suggestion. Since it's your living room, why not make a little curtain to slide along where the cans are which will hide them from view. Not only will it keep dust off of them but it would make the living room look less cluttered and consolidated. You will still have easy access to your daily pantry without your living room looking like a pantry.

Me 5-if your curtains have a casing, you can use a tension rod to keep them up. Easy peasy. If you have leftover material from your window curtains, you can match it.
Sliding cabinet doors on the thrive shelving would look great to help conceal your cans if you didn't want them visible all the time. One more project? Well if you get bored...maybe? I'd love to watch that project. You guys are so cute.
I enjoy watching you declutter and organize. Wish I had the energy and motivation.
Love the opening! Love the word "Declutterfy"! Great job guys!! : )
I feel so happy just by watching your videos.
Y’all are so cute and declutterification what a word hehe and so important in a small space 😃
You guys are so darn cute! And your Leo, he's definitely king of your castle. Thank you for some great tips for decluttering!
Good reminders! Leo is so cute, those eyes when he was on the desk! 🥰
Always love a good laugh Elizabeth. Can't tell you how I hate going through mail! And let's not even talk about the junk mail 😫. You did such a good job everything looks so nice
I am in the middle of a big purge/reorganizing session myself. Feels so good to clean up and make space functional again.
Aww, kitty likes it organized too!
Love that word declutterfy. I really need to declutterfy my house. Poor kitty looked a little confused and concerned that he might get declutterfied. lol
I love following your videos..to me it’s a story of overcoming adversity and creating a life that makes sense for you...and the focus is on freedom...arranging your lives so that you are no longer tied to a huge mortgage...or a 9 to 5 grind job..that’s fine when your kids are still home and young..but when it’s just the two of you and the age we are.. to me, our most precious commodity is time...I just want to spend our last decades of life traveling, spending time with my husband and family...doing arts and crafts..etc etc...you get the picture! So enjoy your tiny home and your time together..I hope to do something similar in the next few years too!
I like how much you two like and enjoy each other.
Bill - take those product manuals (that you set stuff on top of) and put them in a large (gallon size)ziplock bag and stand them on end - label it as product manuals and list what manuals and the product they are for. For general reference - make a list of everything that is in "your" cabinet and attach it to the inside of the cabinet door. Then you will be truly organized - shoot you could also create a "floor plan" of the inside of the cabinet and indicate what is where,, then at a glance you will know exactly where to reach for what you want. Of course it does require you to remember that you put the guiding information on the inside of the door. But, heck, men always read directions, right?
I think the best thing is to put the things you use most often in the easiest to get at spaces.
Don't know how I missed this video last February but I found it at a very good time. I'm planning a big "decluterfication" myself. Great encouragement and motivation for me right now. 😁
Declutterification the art of decluttering one's life. New word and should be sent to Webster's Dictionary to be added to the language. I like it and actually hear it alot. Just noone has submitted it yet. Great job Bill.
You guys are just a delight. Thanks for opening your home and hearts.
Leo is such a beautiful cat. I also love your videos. You all are such a loving couple. May God continue to bless you! xoxo
I absolutely love your videos..you are both such sweet hearted people ,,it is nice to watch you work together..God Bless
How about a long strip of material that goes under the recliner chair cushion and hands down over the arms (with side pockets) to keep books/bits and bobs in. The pockets would be easy to reach (down the sides of the chairs) if sitting down. Just a thought. And very easy to make yourself.

Good job Bill and Elizabeth!! I need to get our closets cleaned out and have a garage sale!! Thanks for sharing.
I just love the love I see between you two as u look at eachother n smile thank u for blessing us all with these videos
Just my 2 cents. I’d put the Thrive up top in the Cabinets. So it’s eye level . All your electronic gadgets can be put on lower shelves, easy to reach when you are sitting down. Along with your photo albums. Make them easier and more relaxing to reach and enjoy. While they are right next to you. Cords can be gathered together with a zip tie.
Love these personal and informative moments. Just started organizing/cleaning up my small space, It's a process- and love your diligent video reminders. Declutterfication!!
We lived in our 32ft fifthwheel during Katrina storm and we set up an office in the same area your desk is...we had two slide outs that helped but after 6 months i was so ready to come home...you are going to enjoy your time together! We are thinking about traveling too for a while in our fifth wheel soon as he retires.
I just love that white desk! It is banged up a bit but still is really beautiful and fits great in that spot.
I i enjoy your videos, you are such a lovely Christian couple, Keep up the good work. From Australia
This might be a suggestion for ya'll. Get one of the power strips that has both usb and regular plugs on it to keep all your charging cords in one place and only take up one plug. I have two of them and use the usb port on my computer to charge my cell phone.
Sure looks comfy in there, and it looks like you two work good together, and now that your done there,my place could use some reorganization, any volunteers lol, good video 😊. ..
Great video! Loved it. Love the end shot with Elizabeth and Leo, just precious. God bless.
Looks good guys! I am motivated to get to my desk area & 2 cupboards now in the kitchen!
It's looking really good. I moved from a two bedroom flat to a small one bedroom place with a joint living room and small kitchen. I don't have anything new come in unless I give away or charity shop it. I have less to dust so that's a bonus lol! God bless both of you. Ps Leo is so gorgeous💗
Looking good! Keeping a tiny house de cluttered is essential! Looks like you guys are doing well with it!
I love your intro... So darn cute !!! Thanks for sharing, sweethearts !!!
Wow, looks really good.
That's funny... Leo isn't too common of a name these days it was my Dad's first name, and now one of our grandsons middle names. Your cats name seems to suit him. 🐱 Being that my husband and I retired to our 5th wheel... unfortunately we to were a product of the crash in 08 both losing our jobs after 30 yrs..mine was due to health..I too have TIA'S and COPD," around the same time of that year,... along with our family home.. I decluter several times a year..in our 28 foot 2 pull-outs, its a must as you know. I am very thankful for our tiny home.. And after 2 yrs on the Oregon coast we are back home close to both our children and grands... I can still thankfully make it a fun experience for the grandchildren to come and stay weekends with Grandma and Papa.. God Bless you both, and Mr. Leo too..🐱
It's fun catching up on your videos.. the clock and desk with shelves is neat. All done with love..
Hi Bill and Elizabeth!! I have learned from our experience in our trailer, it's nice to use magazine racks!! ( I bought my plastic ones at the dollar tree ( when available, it's in the school section ) It creates more spaces for storage!!!😊😊 I love you videos!!! Be Blessed!!!
Drape the blankets on the back of the chairs when not in use.
Ty for this video. Hubby and I live in a 25 ft 1976 Shasta RV. Having a spot for everything is so important but never ending. I'm constantly trying to find the right home for everything so ty for the ideas
I LOVE this! Our house is almost 3x as big as yours, but still quite a challenge...we moved from a MUCH larger home, and my mom had moved in with us before she passed away, so we had ALL of her stuff, plus stuff left behind from our three kids when they grew up & moved on. ("Stuff" included two dogs and a cat...LOL!) We have a lot still in storage and it's a constant process. Your video inspires and motivates me, which I need now & then! Is there anywhere else you could put that lovely mirror that's behind Elizabeth's chair so you could hang your coats back there? Your home is so cozy, it's a joy to watch you two together in it. :)
Love this video . It is one I watch over and over again. It helps me try to keep things organized.😊
Loved the intro!! Love you Elizabeth! Y'all are too cute!
You both have a beautiful relationship. You are very blessed.
I hate paper clutter too! So hard for me to organize and procrastinator is my middle name. Bill and Elizabeth, you are a delightful couple, so real and believable. We downsized from 2990 sf to 1315 sf in Sept 2017. We are in a continual state of declutter! Or declutterization!
Great work you guys!! Good motivation for me to do more de-cluttering! What a cool couple you are :) Bless you both (and all of the nice people who support you both on here :)!
Loved this video! I put a piece of paper on the front of the fridge that says "DECLUTTERFY!" LOL
I just love y'all! Cute and informative video. Handsome camera man, too! Thanks
Looks great! Leo couldn't figure out what in the world you were doing. He looked puzzled 🐱
🌲 Lovely couple ❤ Looks like your successfully "declutterfying!" 😁 🏠 🌟 🕇Peace and Joy in Yeshua!
You guys are awesome! Just saw you for the first time today and subscribed. Thank you!
Loved this video!!
I love Leo! Great video!
I recently declutterfied , while watching episodes of hoarders ! That was good motivation. LOL
Although our situation is a little different, we live in our fifth wheel but travel, we have the same problem with clutter. Since we travel we have to worry about weight. I developed a plan of one thing in,, one thing out. That way we don’t get overwhelmed with clutter
Ah, the JOY of a completed project! So good to see Leo, the supervisor in residence...scratch his chin for us, please, from Charlie THE car and thr crazy old lady on the lake. Our GOD'S continued blessings and journry mercies.
You two are so cute! Praise a God for you.
You two are precious!
Thank you! I need to do this too! Funny that you put this video on now because I just started on this on Tuesday! Love you guys. You have helped me in many ways.
So important in a small space!! I will get to that when I return from my Appalachian trail hike this summer!
Nice work! Great ideas to reduce clutter we can all use.

Love you Elisabeth, Bill & sweet Leo!
You guys are so cute! I'm in the process of not just decluttering, put purging too. Now that I'm in Thrive Life, that is part of my consolidation process. Yeah!
Clutter is a huge problem in my house - and it isn't a tiny house. I keep of my throw blankets folded on the backs of the chairs and sofa. Keeps them out of the way when not using them. Can't think where you could put the coats - maybe a couple command hooks in the living room for night time - you'd still have to move them to the bedroom during the day - maybe a couple command hooks back there as well. They'd be off the bed, at least. Great project, thanks for showing us!
Love you guys. You're videos are the best.
Good job guys! It’s a constant battle. 😢😊 Love y’all,God bless!
Awesome guys glad for you guys .it does feel good.💖😎👊👍👋
Thank you for inviting us in...
It is always hard to keep everything organized - you have done a great job with the amount of space you have. I'm always impressed.
