More A4...or more DCS in general, please! :-)

I’d pay 9.99 for them to get licensing, and, SDK for full fidelity. Just an awesome mod from the community. I Agree it’s awesome that it came out b4 the F-14. Since jester flew it in topgun. And we already have the “mig-28”

Would be awesome to see the A4 Skyhawk and a harrier ( as close as can get to a sea harrier in DCS) and do some Falklands war dogfighting that would look awesome.

You mean the AV-8B Harrier or another aircraft?

predattak The A 8B and Sea Harrier are different variants of the same fighter. The Sea Harrier was used as a dogfighter by the British Royal Navy while the AV8B was more of a multirole fighter bomber for the USMC. Different power plants, weapons, and avionics but still a lot of commonality.

I have loved flying that plane in DCS. For a new guy like me it is way more forgiving and I have taken the time to really learn all of the systems. I only have standard DCS the Su-25 and P-51 so this coming out for free has been great.

Really miss DCS. It's what I subscribed to your channel for.

Fun fact, this isn't the first High Fidelity Mod. It will be the MB-339 Pan.

I downloaded DCS basically for this aircraft because it’s very important to me. My dad’s cousin was killed in 1973 in he’s first combat in this specific aircraft.

My dad actually worked on A-4’s for his first 8 years in the marines, and he actually has a lot of stuff in our garage from that time (including the controls for the joy stick)

This mod is great, but I immediately got distracted by the mig21 I got in the sale. Also LOVING seeing you play DCS again.

Pay attention to your fuse settings. If it looks like you have nose/tail selected click it again, because the center position on that switch is off and it turns your bombs into duds.

Hey I load my A4 with smokewinders pods but I'm not being able to enable them, pressing T doesn't work and I was trying to kinda fire them but I can't do it

You forgot that the harrier can already do sead. The agm122s are not great but they work... And you forgot that they also wanna include a flyable model of the A-6 intruder into the f-14 module some time next year (can also do sead and anti ship)

I hope they are working on the A-6. For sure it will be an ai aircraft. Heatblur didnt want to confirm but talk about tech they did for viggen and tomcat. Sound like air to ground with jester ai to me.

Rolling on the grass will greatly weaken your landing gears. But only if your going to fast

My track ir cable cracked and gets really hot. I discovered it when my foot was getting hot and so i checked my floor where the track ir cable was. It made the carpet hot to touch.Does anyone know if this can be fixed? like cutting and twisting wires together. It is the cable on the head set part not the camera.

It feels like Heatblur and Namco are colluding against my wallet this holiday season 😭

To slow down faster, raise your flaps as soon as you touch down. Also, are the spoilers not implemented? They should be directly above the flaps and extend almost straight up. I'd like to see more on this aircraft and the A-10C. Especially detailed tutorials on weapons and navigation systems. I was a plane captain (ground crew chief) and engine mechanic on A-4E & M, TA-4F & J & OA-4M for many years in the Marine Corps. Love me some ground pounders!

dont quote me on this but i think the pak-fa is getting a full re-work on air perfomance and combat performance

This mod is great, but I wish that they weren't so pushed around and limited by Eagle Dynamics and Boeing. This mod could have been so much more complete and refined if it wasn't for ED's iron fist on free content.

if they made it too realistic they would have to pay licencing fees to McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) defeating the point of a free plane this isn't ED's fault

@@quasar_33b It is partially ED's fault as they do give specific permission for the 3rd party devs to use the SDK and develop the systems. Thus why there's limitations on thing such as flaps. But yes, it isn't fully ED's fault.

Such a fucking great aircraft. Served from 1956 - to the Israelis last retiring theirs in 2015 talk about a cheap, effective CAS aircraft.

The F-8 Crusader would be a nice addition

In the Cockpit folder there is a png file labeled lookatthisphotograph. Replace that with a different picture labeled the same

Who came here after Captain Skyhawk on NES

F111 Aardvark. The PIG.. killed 1/3rd of all tanks in 91 Iraq. Think about that, it plinked more tanks than the warthog.. Dedicated laser, 41 munitions, 12 CBU 87, 20 rockeyes, gun mod, AN ENTIRE CAPSULE that ejects, WITH its own chaff system. itd be the fastest jet in DCS.. it had a special instrument in the cockpit and alarm, *to let the pilot know if he was melting the plane*, yes.. it flew so fast it melted. It has the longest range in DCS, it had a carrier hook. and it would blow 120 foot flame out the back end, when it lit its own fuel dump. In other words, you can light up the entire battlefield like a flare (let them model THAT!) its performed 3 g turns as speeds faster than any in DCS.. its a monster. a2a missiles, carpet bomber, interdictor, interceptor, plinker TOO.. VARIABLE WING.. its has a RIO.. everything we talk about in DCS, and a TON of unique point that people would talk about. the F111 has it.
