Beautiful sorties! I need to find an F14 RIO!
the rio is supposed to look back and track incoming missiles. thats why he has control of flare and chaff, so the pilot can just fly. That's why the dispenser controls are located on the rio's grab handle, so he can look back and pop chaff/flare when he has visual and also tell the pilot what maneuvers to take

I remember this fully. I was at like 45000ft in the viper at Mach 1.5 😂 From RWR warning to impact was probably 6 seconds lmao

Human Rio makes all the difference. Better SA and more reliable radar tracks when compared to jester

so its a toss up because TWS will not let the bandit know youre locking him until the phoenix goes active but doesnt hold locks well its weird
